Did it take me over an hour to solve this puzzle ring?
Did it?
yes
yes
there is no puzzle ring
(in my defense too it had broken and been put back together wrong by whoever gave it to the thrift store)

Hi! This is a random question but I noticed you said you had a puzzle ring and I've been looking for one for *years*. Do you have a link or something to where you got it? Thanks :)
Of course :) I actually got mine in person at the Colorado Renaissance Festival, but I believe the guy who made mine is Norman Greene (since there’s a small signature of “greene” on my ring).
You can order his stuff here:
http://www.puzzlering.net/index.html
http://renaissancerings.com/
But just glancing there… I don’t see my current ring (a 5-band, not a 5-band chain). He does have an example of a 6-band (which I used to have) and a 4-band (which my mom has). So you can order whatever you want but he doesn’t have examples of all the types of rings. But I find that his rings are really well made. I know someone who tried ordering a puzzle ring from some random site and it eventually broke, and it wasn’t even that good looking.
Hoped this helped :) If you have any more questions (ex. is a 4-band easier to put together than a 5-band?) I’d be glad to help.

Love puzzle rings!
14 days till the renaissance faire!
I think I shall start a countdown by blogging about the ren faire every day, starting today.
today: puzzle rings!
these are my puzzle rings. you can take them apart and put them back together.
the smaller one is a four-band ring, and the larger is a five-band. I have seen kinds that have up to eight bands.
I am planning on purchasing another at the ren faire this year. I am thinking a six-band, possibly with a jewel or a fancy design.
Okay, done blabbing for today. More tomorrow!
