So, i got really bored and decided to make a random puzzlescript game in my spare time to kinda relearn the language
If you dont know, puzzlescript is a weird html game engine thing that you use to make puzzle games with, though im sure you can brute force a way for it to play doom or whatever.
although this is a puzzle game, im not an expert on making those, and i only made this to fiddle around and see what happens, so dont expect anything wild.
a game me n my friend made for uni abt a weird cat doing weird stuff. created in less than a week in puzzlescript, available on pc in browser. would be really glad if any of you checked it out :)
I'm trying to make a little puzzlescript game about being a hazmat guy solving sokoban style puzzles while sliding on some slippery slime.
I would love if you could play my first few levels and give me some feedback, this would be greatly appreciated. Please play it blind, because i want to see how good the tutorial is, but afterwards, my thoughts are below the cut.
A game made with the PuzzleScript game engine.
the art is ugly. first draft, I'm not worried about this, it will get better.
of the 3 main slime types, red seems the least useful. Besides the one puzzle i have so far which is pretty obvious and also works with blue slime, i have struggled to come up with good puzzles using it. maybe it will prove more useful in combination with the other slimes. Either way, i don't want to cut it, because it feels important to complete the set.
not sure about the way i tutorialise holes. Especially the interactions with slime are a little complex, and i don't know if they are made clear in the introductory holes + slime level. If you can beat the last level, you clearly get it (i think) but that jumb micht be a bit much.
