I love how active Pyrcings are on Twitter and Instagram, but I really wish there are more of us here on Tumblr. Tumblr is one of the biggest platforms of this generation and has played a huge role in the skyrocketing of the careers of Halsey, Charli XCX, etc. which is why so many other artists pander to this side of their audience. Let everyone know Julia Pierce is releasing new music under her solo name Pyrce.
I see a lot of likes and reblogs on Hey Violet exposing accounts defending Julia, but a quick look on some of those rebloggers’ recent activity reveals little to none about Julia. Not that I am shaming anybody for what they choose to put on their accounts—I respect aesthetic and all—I’m just saying that if you can talk about the age-old drama surrounding Julia Pierce and her former band mates, you can talk about Pyrce and her new project. It doesn’t take too long to say Julia Pierce is releasing new music under her solo name Pyrce.
Julia might be debuting on Alt. Press, but she has a long way to go. What we want is to establish her longevity, and what better way to do that than to seek out new loyal fans? Generate hype. Talk about the new music. The more you talk about her, the higher the possibility someone out there will see and check out “Fix.” Posts are powerful! Even blogs like me with practically zero followers. I mean, I discovered Cherri Bomb through a fan comment on a Youtube video. From there, this app introduced me to the wonderful human being who later became the inspiration behind this blog. So be active, guys! I mean, Julia Pierce is releasing new music under her solo name Pyrce. We’re all excited. Let’s show her some love!
Follow PYRCE on Twitter and Instagram at @pyrcemusic and like her on Facebook at facebook/pyrceofficial.com. Her debut single “Fix” will be premiering May 17th at @altpress (altpress.com).
