'Professor' was once an actual professor, a lizardfolk academic studying abroad with an interest in ancient cultures, linguistics, and esotericism.
However, after being stranded in an abandoned plane of reality full of ancient structures, Professor at some point rejected his civilized past and seems to have voluntarily devolved into a wildman of some kind. He scampers around eating and drinking whatever he can find, speaking mostly in grunts and broken speech. His curiosity from his academic days remains, albeit in the form of a cautious animalistic foraging behavior.
As a character in a D&D 5E campaign, he is part of the Blood Hunter class and uses the drawing of his own blood to enhance his power and cast spells, hence his numerous bandages and scars.
Some face practice I did recently of characters for my post-post-post-apocalyptic story, This Is Not Our World.
Left to right: Kate, Morgan, Roland, and good ol' Cestov.
I'm currently trying to grow my audience. I'm gonna be posting a lot more of these so if you're interested in them or in the story at all please consider following!
Doodling, trying to refine the design for Hellhounds before they show up for realsies in my comic. I like the idea of the face peeling back to reveal an interior maw full of uneven teeth, but not sure if that's too similar to the "inner mouth" that phantoms have. Still workshopping it.
An homage to an old Bionicle MOC of mine from when I was a kid. The build isn't super complex or interesting, but I'm still a fan of his character and general vibe. Thought I'd give a nod to that chapter of my life with this character sheet.
COMMISSIONS. ARE. OPEN!!!
This is my first time doing commissions and I am VERY excited to share with all of you. If anybody messages me the day I post this, just know I might not get around to you until tomorrow.
