Two weeks away from the one year mark of my life changing surgery. I was already down 40lbs in this before picture and had already made up my mind that the healer in me was about to be the healer for me. This past year has challenged and tested every bit of who I am and who I am about to become. I have discovered a part of me that I do easily give away to others had been the hardest for me to hold onto for myself. I have been dropped to my knees in this past year and have had to surrender to what would be the most challenging, raw but beautiful experiences. I have only one direction and going backwards is not an option.
