I love her story so so much and just the whole concept of a natural born half ghoul and how important she is to the story of Tokyo Ghoul as a whole even though we don't meet or learn much about her till later on. I love tragic father/daughter relationships so so much and her and Yoshimura are exactly that. Every version of her is so unique and adorable like her human version, Aogiri Tree and of course the one eyed owl. I remember when I first watched Tokyo Ghoul in i think middle school I remember really liking her, she was my second character and is still a dream cosplay of mine, mainly her Aogiri Tree version before I think her like coat/dress is super cute (and I wouldn't have a style a wig hehe).

How do you feel Fantasy Life i compares to Fantasy Life? Is it a worthy sequel after so many years or nah (and in that case, is it at least a good game on its own)?

YES! So many times yes! You don't have to have played the previous game to enjoy it! It has it's own story and characters!

With of course a link to the previous games, both the 3ds one and online with reoccurring characters! And few easter eggs!

But there are still it's own uniqueness! Just with those new lives, the fact you can advance the story at your own pace like before! And the additional open world is just as cool as the dungeons added!

Some things changed from the previous games! Like the fact you gather automatically loot from defeated monsters! Without having to worry about bosses' loot that'll disappear because of a misclick and destroying it!

As a fantasy life lover, I am bleeding this game xD

And the new characters are so loveable and unique!

Imma stop now, otherwise I won't stop yapping about it xD

(metadow is pog for the record) Btw I'm trying to re-read the latest chapters because you churn them out faster than I was able to collect my thoughts to comment and I have THOUGHTS to comment. I think that's really cool!!! You're putting out so much so fast omg

one of the biggest inspirations for this fic was actually a completely unrelated fic on ffnet called Iron Oxide - i really recommend it! its metonic and its super good, but it inspired me to try writing something for a niche pair like metadow with similar elements. introspective thrillers are something i really enjoy both reading and writing so its been fun to see what i can do with the pairing! i also really wanted to make a sort of family drama between metal and the other robot sonics, since i thought different perspectives on what it was like to BE a sonic clone would be really fun to incorporate

as for metadow specifically, i think one day i was just randomly looking at metal sonic pictures because i was looking for art references and i happened to stumble across screencaps of rivals 2. i had no idea shadow and metal were paired up in that game as partners!! but it sort of just hit me: woah, these guys REALLY work well together thematically?? and that was how i came to ship metadow lmaoo
