i saw your queer eye au and i wanted to share my long held headcanon about tony on that show. the fab five go through tony's old mit stuff because his house is beautiful but bobby has noticed that outside the workshop the only real personal touches are pepper's so things are a bit like a magazine and he wants to find some personal effect to display. while they're looking through it all they find a big ass bi pride flag (cont.)

(continued) obviously the five are all like “well we won’t air this we don’t wanna out you without your consent” and tony just goes “did i… not do that? pepper, did i forget to come out?”

a+++++++ headcanon this is amazing.

tony would be the guy who conveniently forgets to come out. he doesn’t think it’s a huge deal that he’s bi, and everyone he’s close with already knows he’s bi. as long as the people who matter to him know and accept him, that’s fine. so because he’s surrounded by his friends who love pointing out hot guys to him on a daily basis, he seriously just. forgets. that the rest of the world has no idea he’s interested in men as well as women.

so tony gives permission to air the part with the big bi flag, and tony’s coming out and years at mit become the central theme of the episode. they dig out all of his mit stuff and find old decorations he had around his dorm, and bobby turns tony’s sleek home office into a room full of memorabilia. they hang up his college pennants, bobby builds a custom shelf for tony’s trophies. tan finds old hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts, etc. that tony never threw out but are worn as hell, and with tony’s permission, he and bobby get a custom quilt made out of the clothes. bobby gets matching throw pillows to go with the quilt so tony can get comfy on the couch when he has time to wind down.

antoni asks tony what college life was like for a young billionaire genius. did he ever cook for himself or did he just eat out a lot? tony admits that he and rhodey constantly ordered pizza, but there were days when tony lived just like every other college student and cooked ramen noodles using the illegal hotplate in his room. that makes everyone laugh, and antoni combines this knowledge with tony’s italian heritage from his mother’s side. tony knows the basics of making pasta because maria had taught him while he was growing up, so together he and antoni make cacio e pepe using ramen noodles.

finally, they ask tony what they want to do with his bi flag. bobby suggested just hanging it up in tony’s workshop, or his room. a personal space, maybe? tony just shrugs. “sure, hang it on my closet door,” he says. “it’ll be symbolic.”

the new season of queer eye becomes available on netflix and tony’s episode is the last one. they keep the synopsis of the ep vague enough, and tony tweets about it, just saying, “great new season of queer eye. that last episode is especially heartwarming :)” and everyone wonders what the hell he’s on about. “Tony Stark Bi” and “Queer Eye” become the top two trending topics for a whole week.

Ok so y’all know how at the end of each Queer Eye episode they have the #QEHIPTIP right and sometimes it’s different so like in this QE Klaine AU imagine #QESURPRISE or something at the end of the last episode of a season like a few years in and it’s Blaine proposing to Kurt (or vice versa)

the taz queer eye crew is all about teaching them about their home plane because, well, of course, everyone wants to be like the ipre crew. but in reality they’re bullshitting stuff and making up bizarre culture and fashion and saying “oh this is /so/ trendy on the two sunned planet”

queer eye for the faerun guy doubles as a lifestyle show on faerun where the crew teaches them about twosun culture, and as a comedy show on twosun where the crew sees how long they can get away with bsing about their home planet

Pepper nominating tony for queer eye (the au where tony dresses like RDJ)

i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again: bob is the strongest rdj out of the spectrum. there’s really nothing the fab five can do about it. here’s what would happen:

karamo sees how confident tony is when he’s rocking his bobfits and goes, “okay i guess if they make you happy then just keep it up” but he does help tony with some of his issues with self-worth.

tan takes a look at the rest of tony’s closet and cries because it’s just so beautiful. tony doesn’t need to just stick with the basics. he has everything anyone would ever need and want. tan wishes he could stock up a closet like tony’s on a daily basis. he leaves with a part time gig styling tony for special events.

job asks tony to demonstrate his grooming routine and is super impressed. the only thing he changes is tony’s shampoo. tony shows jonathan the 11th floor of stark tower, which is home to a full service spa. they spend a whole day there together just treating themselves.

bobby asks if he can move into tony’s place. there’s no work at all that needs to be done, aside from maybe changing some curtains and switching up the artwork a bit. tony promises he’ll call bobby the next time the avengers wreak havoc in his home and he needs to get some furniture replaced.

antoni’s the only one to really have his work cut out for him. he teaches tony how to make an omelette without burning it, and without having to spend three whole hours on it. he doesn’t need to stock up on groceries, so that’s good. he takes whatever he finds in tony’s kitchen and teaches him how to make an amazing brunch. dum-e shows antoni how to make tony’s favorite smoothie.

nothing changes about the way tony dresses tho
