Can we have a lore summary please. Who’s OG friends with Trevor? Quinn? And he was adopted by the other Hughes?

I mean I’m soooo the wrong person to ask this. I’m not even a true Trevorhead I’m barely clearing the ranks for hughes lore LOL. but Trevor and Jack were in the usntdp together, so they met at like 15?? I think??? and were kind of attached at the hip for the rest of their time there. they’re essentially childhood best friends a little bit. Jack’s whole ntdp class was kind of codependent and culty (affectionate??), details on that are best found in whirlpool-blogs extensive archiving of their pre draft era. Jack was one of the few kids who’s family moved so he didn’t have to billet, so his favorites from this era kind of get absorbed into his family as well (there’s old photos on his moms twitter of everyone at thanksgiving at his house w/him and his brothers, stuff like that). trevor has NOT been adopted, if anyone gets that title it’s probably Alex turcotte who billeted w/the hughes and so like. literally was their honorary brother until they graduated high school.

Trevor in specific tho gets brought up more often a) bc as the other top American forward that year, he was constantly compared to jack, b) he seems to be the friend of jack’s who’s closest to all of his family (hello Trevor and papa hughes giggling in the stands at jack’s playoff game) c) Trevor is the one that quinn has brought up the most and been the most emotive about. quinn is very very deadpan, and then Trevor comes up and he’s like oh my godddd that guy… did you know he has lame tattoos. did you know he never shuts up when we golf together. but also when Quinn’s old coach called him to ask about Trevor, who had recently gotten traded to said coach’s team, quinn had nothing but glowing reviews to give! so it’s very like. you can tell he likes Trevor bc he’s willing to publicly give him shit, which he usually only really does w/his brothers and best friends, right. meanwhile Trevor gushes about quinn every time he’s brought up he’s lowkey obsessed w/the guy. so like. that’s the lore I guess!
