This is about to be a very stressful hatch as it’s my last, and only chance at preserving the birds of this particular line.
Sadly I recently lost my 4 best birds in a petsitting mistake and do not have any living offspring off these pairings. The losses included my 7 year old blueface male, nearly 5 yr old silver male, the silvers daughter (the popular dilute silver redbreasted I posted awhile ago), and a stunning tuxedo hen from another breeder who graciously has offered me some of her siblings for an extremely cheap price. These eggs hopefully will hatch the last offspring of these birds. While the silvers chicks may be his daughters, I’m not at all concerned about one generation of linebreeding as it won’t cause any harm at this stage, if anything it will be quite beneficial. I’ll try to keep updates on this incubation if I remember.
