Queen elia martell for the end of eila week
Now tell me, why did Rhaegar 'Remaking the Conquerors' Targaryen name his first daughter Rhaenys instead of Visenya? If he was recreating the Conquerors, wouldn't he be elated to have a first born child be a daughter he could name Visenya?
I think it was Elia Nymeros Martell. THE Cuntiest thing she could have done in that situation. Dorne finally 'makes peace' with the Targaryens, after a previous failed attempt, and she decides to name her daughter after the Conqueror they murdered.
Girlie really said, I'm gonna Yoink your last bloodline and that name. Final Win against the Colonizers.
Not to say she knew Knew she wouldn't have another daughter, though both births almost killed her, but she saw her chance and took it.

Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire Queen Elia AU

Rhaegar dies at the Battle of the Trident, Lyanna at the Tower of Joy in Dorne, and everything follows the original storyline up until the Sack of King’s Landing, which doesn’t happen.
Elia musters up the courage to take control of the Red Keep. She has a guard delay Aerys’ message to let Tywin and his forces in and she protects everyone. With the help of the Sept, the remaining knights, and Jaime, she keeps Aerys locked in his room until he dies and Elia becomes Queen Regent. She calls back Rhaella, Viserys, and the newborn Daenerys to King’s Landing and helps to bring a golden age to Westeros, which historians call the Age of the Sun. She doesn’t take another king and forgives the North and the Starks, since it was just Rhaegar and Lyanna acting out. Robert, Tywin, and the other rebel forces are forced to bend the knee to the newly crowned Queen Elia, the Queen of the Sun (or the Sun Queen Elia for short).
(Her full title is Queen Elia, First of her Name, Queen of the Andals, the First Men, and Dorne, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm.)
The storyline is the same afterwards, with Dany and Viserys going to Essos and finding the dragon eggs and renewing the Targaryen legacy. Elia retires the throne to Aegon when he is 18 and spends her time traveling between King’s Landing and her beloved Dorne, and Aegon becomes the King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm and a proud knight of Westeros. The people call him the Good King Aegon and the King of Dragons, with Dany known as the Queen and Mother of Dragons. Rhaenys spends her time traveling the land and meeting with the people, becoming known as the Beautiful Princess (later Queen) of the Sun, like her mother.
Ned’s nephew Jon/Jaehaerys (not Aegon) and his daughter Sansa are sent to King’s Landing as a resurrence that the North won’t rebel and are treated like family by the royal family. Rhaella dies peacefully with her family lovingly around her. Rhaegar is called the Foolish Prince and Lyanna the Love-Struck Maiden by following generations. Elia dies peacefully in Sunspear with her family around her.
Aegon, Rhaenys, and the other Targaryen children marry for love, but also choose their partners carefully so that the won’t be a repeat of Rhaegar’s actions. The siblings still respect their father, but believe he was foolish to chase after “salt and smoke.” Historians find a series of diaries and letters that were sent between Elia and her children, including Jon, Rhaella, Viserys, Dany, and even Sansa, which tells them of their personal lives and what transpired afterwards.
Elia was never mean to Jon and treated him like a son, letting him and Sansa go to Winterfell to spend time with their family and to keep the North happy. To keep the Lannisters sedated, Elia has Cersei marry her brother Oberyn, since her marrying Robert could lead to another rebellion. Cersei is married in the Sept in King’s Landing and moves to Sunspear with Oberyn, Ellaria, and the Sand Sisters. She gives Oberyn three children, Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen. Jaime is returned to his father at Casterly Rock, and Tyrion becomes Elia’s Right Hand and later Aegon’s, becoming known as Tyrion the Clever.
I had this idea since I made the picture above (and because I was reading GoT fanfiction where Elia lives). That’s all I got for now. Hope you enjoyed!
