I’m genuinely surprise Theo got so much love lol cos they appeared for like...half a scene? Not complaining though. Either I clearly underestimated their appeal or yall just don’t know enough about them yet and that mystery makes them hot (leaning towards the latter here).

React question!! How would the RO's react to an MC who's usually pretty confident and witty getting flustered over little romantic things like hand holding and pet names? 👀

Ariel takes every opportunity to lay out every pet name they know. It’s just teasing, if the MC really didn’t like it they would stop! It’s actually nice to see this other side of them. But... if there’s no resistance, then they probably are taking your hand at random, whispering things so only you can hear (regardless of the content. It might not even be romantic things they’re saying, but the intimacy of whispering into their partner’s ear... well, it’s cute to see how the MC burns over it).

Thorne is dying. Please. It’s not enough that the MC is already so cool in their eyes, but now this? It’s too cute, and when you get embarrassed, they get embarrassed, and before you know it you’re just two blushing messes on the ground. And now they have to look away when they hold your hand, otherwise their heart will probably burst. They probably fumble saying pet names, too. You guys are adorable.

Odette tries not to laugh, no, it’s not funny exactly, well... it is a little bit. You’re getting embarrassed over this? She could do much worse, you know, but you’re nervous about her calling you “dear”? 

Lawrence is sparingly romantic--in the instances where he might utter sweet words, it’s all too likely you two are already alone. When he first realizes he’s caught the MC dropping their typical confidence, he might feel a little prideful, actually. A side of you all his own. Shh...

Just played your demo today, and I love the effect your writing has- makes it so easy for me to imagine what my Titan will be like, how they'll interact with your world. Will wait patiently and happily for future updates! Now my question; Clem's obviously has put a lot of effort into being as unintimidating as possible. When was the first time they (if they ever have, even) felt violent towards someone else? And how did they feel about themselves' afterwards?

Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the demo (and very sorry about how quiet I’ve been)! As for when/if Clem’s every felt violent towards someone...

If nothing else, they’ve definitely had moments where it occurred to them that they could use their size and/or strength to achieve a goal (ex: someone’s getting picked on and they know they could feasibly fight off the bullies). I’m not sure I would describe Clem as a total pacifist, though I also wouldn’t call them someone who particularly enjoys violence.

Their current mindset is one that’s been developed over time, stemming both from their divine dealings and the way their worldview changed when their brother came into the picture. A child can’t fight off the gods or their servants, so violence was rarely useful when Clem was trying to protect the MC from MC-typical shenanigans. But a child could perhaps fight off other children if said child perceived some sort of injustice, and Clem often did. If they saw children tormenting a stray dog, they’d absolutely throw themself into the fray to try and scare off the kids. And maybe that kind of violence even gave them a kind of feeling of control over their life, since they could so rarely do more than tag along and worry over the MC.

But bringing Patrick into the picture? I don’t know how often Clem’s little brother will show up in-game, but one thing that’s fairly characteristic of Patrick is that he’s very... scrappy, let’s say. And that’s something he picked up from Clem. Once Clem realized that Patrick might view them as a role model, they made a conscious decision to try and find other methods of solving problems, but it was a little too late. Even if Clem ended up very deliberately gentle, Patrick still sees them as someone who helps others. So Clem can help with words, but Patrick can help with his fists. Whoops.

Anyway tl;dr Clem got into more fights than one might assume when they were younger because they were bigger than the other kids and they knew they could use that to their advantage, and they usually felt pretty justified afterwards. Once they were aware that they had a Small Bro looking up to them, they started to rethink whether violence was necessarily the right answer.

Hi, love the demo!! My fave background (aka the one that makes me the absolute saddest) is the one with our little bro. So a question! What would our ROs reactions be if they found a little box tucked away in MC's bag that was filled with Jorgen's keepsakes? Like, his first shoes, trinkets he collected growing up, old drawings, that sort of thing? I'm emotional about it already, my MC would definitely take some keepsakes with her before she fled the village.

Ah yes, Trident’s Teeth. That one killed me, it was the first background I wrote. So, how would the RO’s react....

Morkai would be intensely curious about it but would realize that it was something of significance to the MC so, despite his curiosity, he’d stop rifling through it and let it be. He’d then wait for the MC to talk to him about it themselves, and if that took too long, he’d start dropping not so subtle hints about wanting to know, lol.

Straasa would understand immediately that it was something of extreme emotional value and that it probably has something to do with the MC’s family. So he’d put it reverently back, and then next time he had some privacy with the MC, he’d start talking about his own past and the things that hurt him in an effort to get the MC sharing their own pain.

Daelynn you go through each and every item with quiet affection and sadness, cause she can sense that the items are beloved but tinged with grief. She’d pay a sort of homage to the person the MC loved so much, and then go to the MC and hug them tightly, telling them that she will never leave them. WOuldn’t try to get them to talk about it.

Eledwen would at first be confused because the idea of objects holding emotional value is a concept that was shaken out of her at a very young age. But once she realizes that these things probably mean the world to the MC, she’s put them respectfully back and then walk over to the MC, and hug them from behind, letting her forehead rest on their back. Then she’d tell them that she is here for them, always, whether the need to talk to her or just be with her.
