Idk if you’ve heard of bandalettes, but I love them!! I wear them with my short shorts and then I have lace showing under the hem!

honestly i dun mind the rub much unless i’m doing Serious Walking. my body is built in such a way it’s more irritating than painful even in the long run. so a) my Tiny Shorts purchases are motivated by ass-n-cooch-sweat catching abilities and b) my Tiny Shorts are athleisureware as most of my favorite clothing is, so they are too tight to wear anything underneath anyway.

It's not an lgbt pairing, so I wouldn't expect to see it in the hack, but do you know of any hack that allows for Frederick & Emm supports?? Ever since Emm's paralogue and the convo between her and Frederick, I've always hoped to see some kind of support convo between them. The way he acts when recruiting her makes me think that there was so much left unsaid between them

this hack allows for fred/emm, there has even been a submission though it’s not yet implemented.

I know this is late, but I only just started listening to your podcast (it's great, and I have to try my hardest to not scream along at work!) You discussed how TP writes the monarchy of Tortall v. the democracy of the Bazhir, and I found it interesting when placed next to how she wrote the government of Emelan (Duke Vedris) v. the government of Tharios from Shatterglass (that both of the latter examples are written as ineffective/corrupt/too many cooks in the kitchen type of scenario)

Oh man, it’s been ages since I read the Circle Opens, but I do think Pierce introduces some REALLY interesting worldbuilding concepts in Emelan. It’s much less of a standard heroic fantasy setting, so it makes sense that the political situation would be more gray than Tortall’s very straightforward take on monarchy.
