Disney songs that hit different when you're queer
"Reflection" Mulan (specifically if you're transgender)
"I'll Make A Man Out of You" Mulan (the transmasc euphoria song)
"Jack's Lament" the Nightmare Before Christmas
"Part of Your World" the Little Mermaid
"God Help the Outcasts" the Hunchback of Notre Dame
"I'm Still Here" Treasure Planet (specifically my transmasc anthem but my experiences are not universal)
"Out There" the Hunchback of Notre Dame (when you're closeted)
"Waiting On a Miracle" Encanto (when you're queer and religious)
"One of Us" Lion King 2
"How Far I'll Go" Moana ( when the people who raised you wouldn't let you be exposed to any queer media)
"Colors of The Wind" Pocahontas (the only good thing the Pocahontas franchise brought us was the soundtrack. When my friend was closeted she said to a girl who was being blatantly homophobic " you think the only people who are people are the people that look and think like you." Stopped her in her tracks!)
"Kiss the Girl" the Little Mermaid (but specifically when. You know what I mean lmao)
"When Will My Life Begin" Tangled
"Go The Distance" Hercules
"I Won't Say I'm In Love" Hercules
"One Jump Ahead (reprise)" Aladdin
"Proud of Your Boy" Aladdin Broadway musical
"If I Never Knew You" Pocahontas
Do feel free to add. Just don't let Disney see this
THEM. <3
Anna: Okay, that's enough! No more talking about Namaari!
Raya: But I thought you told me to get it out of my system?
Anna: I had no idea how much you had it in your system.
Am I crazy for thinking this would be a cute ship?
Oh, Dear! Well, it’s certainly lucky I found you before the rain started to get heavy. Here, you and your little friend can share my shawl…
every few months I find myself attempting to combat my art block with a bit of SnowRora

Elsa is a beautiful trans woman. She tried to escape to her ice palace first, but ended up going back into the closet and wear the crown. Now she finally came out to herself and everyone. And did what she had to do for herself. I love this so much.

Just rewatched the first Frozen with my kids this weekend. That one always spoke to me as a queer person. And Let it Go was always a coming out song to me.
Afterwards we watched Frozen 2, which I had never seen. "Into the Unknown" absolutely broke me — like, in a good way.
Maybe it is because I found out I am trans between the first and the second one.
