for all the questioning folk out there!!
Questioning wlw culture is being afraid to date because what if you're not attracted to women like that but also what if you *are* and aaaaaaaaaaa
.
inside you there are two wolves, one is a lesbian, the other is bi....and then they kiss
So about a year ago yesterday I called my dad at night bc I'm a stressed college kid and told him that I don't believe I'm 100%straight. He kind of just accepted it "Okay" and even mentioned a cousin on his side of the family who was gay. He's out and happy but no longer in contact with his family. It's already cringey that I made this post and I don't like oversharing, but I wanted to celebrate telling a person that I don't think I'm straight. For most people on this site it's scary, even dangerous to tell someone and I recognize the privilege of having even one supportive relative.
I'm not out completely and I don't have a definite label for myself. I started this sideblog because I wanted to learn about the lgbt community and if I was a part of it. I'm glad I found sapphic tumblr when I did and I love the community on here. Alright that's enough rambling.
i just want all my girls who are questioning themselves and still trying to figure out how they feel about girls to know that it’s okay not to know, it’s okay to be confused, and it’s okay to take your time. and if you never figure it out and you never decide on a label for yourself, that’s also fine. you are loved just the way you are.
Thinking I’m probably bi. What are some common ways that people have known they really are bi and aren’t maybe just trying to join the club or something?
Being worried that they’re just doing it to join the club But in all seriousness—I’ve mentioned having like three friends, before, who thought they were bi and ended up being straight. As of now two of them have come out to me as bi. I think once you start questioning it’s a pretty sure thing. If you’re feeling enough conflict to have to ask this question out loud online, whether it’s by messaging a blog or googling “am I gay” you’re probably lgbt 🏳️🌈Congrats on being bi!
When you’re super stressed out and asking a wlw for support, hoping you’re not asking for too much. Please don’t let me be too demanding and let her be okay with it.
To all of my questioning intersex sapphics, it’s okay to be whoever you are. Really, there’s nothing wrong with being a gay girl and intersex. There’s nothing wrong with you, or who/how you choose to love. It’s hard, but it’s okay to struggle, to grow, express yourself however you want. Whoever you are, you’re good.
