“I don’t want to talk about it.” she said bluntly, but that was her usual go to answer when it was a subject like this. Not thank you, like it should have been, or some other polite answer, Felicity defaulted to not wanting to talk when it wasn’t babbling or tech talk and this was no different. Losing Laurel hit her harder than any other death they had faced before. So much guilt and grief weighed on her shoulders… maybe if she hadn’t quit the team, maybe if she had been there… she could have helped… something, anything different could have kept her here still. So no. She did not want to talk about it or think about it.

If she did not wish to talk about it then he wouldn’t go on about it, but he did mean to be there for her. He knew this was hard for her, probably harder than anything.
