Gambel’s Quail on Cholla Tucson, AZ October 2020
My handsome naga son makes an appearance. I love him,,,,
Tried boiled Quail eggs today, and it was really delicious. I didn’t even add salt or seasoning. The yoke was not dry like some chicken eggs I have had before. Such a quick snack, delicious, and easy.

Can I hear more about either Wyrm or your other naga OC?
Ok So firstly, I will get into the other Naga OC, his name is Quial. He’s a simple dude, living a simple life. He lives in a mountain city called Sanctuary. I’m imagining it’s in some mountains that are nearby some more arid land. So, he’s a librarian and he’s kind of like an immigrant. See, he’s a really big, big, big variant of naga that’s based on a constrictor snake. The other nagas around him are smaller varieties both constrictor and venomous alike but their just tiny. Like they’re corn snakes and gopher snakes and stuff and he’s like the equivalent of a green boa constrictor. He’s a MASSIVE LAD. Quial is generally a soft-spoken guy who likes to read and drink tea and just sorta chill. He’s in a love with a human too, he’s much bigger than they are tho lmaoooooo
Next is Wyrm. Ok, so Wyrm is the protector of the guy in the picture with him, Sansa. Sansa is the son of a king and queen who were rulers of separate lands and tried to like, marry and make it work. But his parents split up and moved back to their prospective kingdoms after he was born. He went with his dad. Now, his mother has had a political plot since her son is getting older, to have him assassinated. She sees that Sansa is the kind of ruler that could bring the kingdoms together even after the split. So, instead of killing him right away, she kidnaps him instead so she can have some power and leverage over the King to arrange things before she offs the kid.
This is where Wyrm comes in. In this world, there’s this thing called the Beast’s Cradle. Its a sort of bowl surrounded by craggy mountains. In it, as the name suggests, are creatures the general population considers beasts. Wrym is sort of the leader overseer of the folk in the Beast’s Cradle. Sansa’s mom says she’ll completely stop the invasion and slaughter of the Beast’s Cradle if they keep this kid (Sansa) there, and let no one but her into the area. They’re to kill all others on sight. Now obviously Wyrm takes this deal because he has no care for the politics of the people outside the borders of his home and he is doing what he can to protect his own kind.
Now Wyrm is a special sort of naga, he kinda descended from draconic heritage so while he looks really snake-y he can breathe fire and has some control over magic (size-shifting). The size he is the image of him and Sansa is the smallest he gets, but he can become much much larger! Though it takes quite a lot out of him to shift his size due to the fact he is only minorly magical.
Wyrm has taken a shining to Sansa however. As he learns about the world outside the Beast’s Cradle and about how kind of awful Sansa’s mother is, he realizes that he must protect Sansa from everyone. And so now, Sansa kind of has a boyfriend and his boyfriend’s entire civilization of super strong monsters protecting him. Oh the intrigue lol
That’s as much as I have on them for now! But I plan on writing more!!!!!!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MY OCS!! I LOVE TALKING ABOUT THEM SO MUCH!!!!!
When you’re supposed to be doing homework but you draw sexy snake librarians instead. 😋
