Sorakhii, Rahi Poaching Kingpin
Like any good Xian, Sorakhii has a taste for profit and no scruples to get in the way of obtaining it. She is the boss of Kirox Aulu ("Red Claw"), a shadowy syndicate focused on the poaching and trafficking of exotic Rahi. Although she herself doesn't much care for Rahi, she understands that there are collectors and enthusiasts who would pay handsomely for Muaka fangs or Kane-Ra horns.
Being both a Vortixx and the leader of a lucrative criminal enterprise, it should come as no surprise that Sorakhii is a harsh boss to work for. She does not tolerate failure, and would prefer her underlings to die rather than fail. While she may prefer to let others do her dirty work, she is not afraid to venture out into the field to show her worthless henchmen how to do their jobs.
Some time ago, Sorakhii lost her right forearm at the talons of a particularly ravenous Reas-Nui. She ended up beating the giant bird into submission and now keeps it as her personal pet, naming it Pridak after the great king of antiquity. She's replaced her arm with a cannon that fires superheated spheres of liquified gold - an exorbitantly expensive weapon for an exorbitantly wealthy Oropi.

Dark Hunters 2005 (Pre-2006 Pieces ONLY) Build Challenge
Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about 2005 and what a secretly pivotal moment it was for Bionicle mocs. Something about how life used to be before Inika parts came into the picture was so… different. There was a time when it was hard not to make a custom torso without using a Bohrok body piece, if you can believe it, and 2005 was perhaps the last and most sophisticated era of that kind of building. You can especially see what I mean in the Dark Hunters building contest entries:
My friends @origsmocs @kopakaskoolkompanion and @binkybonkles and I have this fun little game where we make mocs with special parameters or conditions, and it’s a really fun and challenging way to flex your muscles as a builder. Recently, while talking about the Dark Hunters and this sort of unique time period of Bionicle Mocs, we decided to challenge ourselves by trying to build a sort of retroactive winner of the Dark Hunters build contest, with the stipulation of only using parts made and available before 2006! The rules are as follows:
No parts or recolors that would have only been available after December 2005
Pins, axles, or liftarms made after 2005 must be acknowledged and only used sparingly, if at all
Digital builds must also follow the same rules in regards to recolors especially.
Dark Hunter mocs should also be given a name and some flavor text to accompany the build, not unlike the original Dark Hunter Build Contest
Should be tagged with #DH2005 MOCS tag in order to be recognized.
This is an open invitation for anyone to participate in this moc challenge, as it’s just for fun, however I will be specifically challenging @galis-gock, @nihilpersona and @eclipsecaller to participate and create their own Dark Hunters with only 2005 pieces!
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s Dark Hunter builds! Remember, tag with #DH2005 MOCS!
I am tempted to say that the 'main hero turns evil' thing was a rip-off of Revenge of the Sith, but both movies came out in 2005 and this movie was probably in production for a while so it's not like it wasn't already far along when that movie came into theaters....
...then again, it's not like the Plot of RotS was a surprise when it came out.
And that shot of the burning Temple, hm...
