Two shots ring out over the coms and Ghost looks away from his position, up to where Soap was keeping an eye on him, from the safety of his sniper rifle.

"Johnny?" Ghost asks into the communication device in his ear, then looks up again. A commotion near Soap's position. Dropping his current target and sliding back into the shadows to avoid catching the cartel member's attention, he makes his way back to Soap's position. Quietly. Stealthily.

Until he makes it there. Soap is lying on his back, fingers pressed to his abdomen, under his rib cage, grit teeth. There's a look of recognition on Soap's face as he sees Ghost's silhouette emerge from the shadows.

"Johnny?" Ghost asks, holstering his weapon, kneeling next to Soap. There's blood spilling from Soap's mouth, and from what Ghost can see, the injury is life threatening. The minutes it took Ghost to get here will mean life or death. "I need evac, now, Soap's down," Ghost barks into the coms, to the rest of the team.

Soap breathes in hard, through his nose, gags on the blood pooling in the back of his throat, spits it out and coughs, writhing with pain as he tries to keep the pressure on the wounds.

"Can you fix it?" Soap croaks, through two huffs and two puffs, trying to stay steady. Ghost's eyes go to the wound, then to Soap's face, then to the bodies which have dropped nearby. Soap killed his assailants.

"I don't know- I need evac, he needs to get out of here," Ghost yells into the coms again, this time putting his hands over Johnny's, as they immediately go slimy with the blood, pooling out of the wound. Shit, this is bad.

Haha no. I barely call myself a writer, I don’t feel I can give any advice on the craft.

Unfortunately, I need a specific verse here to answer this question @quietlyimplode! I don’t have many, but I still don’t want to guess. :) 

4: what time of the day/night do you like to write?

I don’t have a specific time, but I do have a general preference of writing during the day, mostly because past about 8pm I’m kinda done with concentrating and would rather just be reading fic or watch TV or something. Obviously, I’ll write longer if I have a deadline though. :P
