On a side note, this Ayah hit hard specifically because I’m at work at the hospital now. It’s lightly raining outside and I’ve got two patients. One of them is pregnant, miraculously, which was incidentally discovered. The other one had a heart attack and is surgery right now, no person knows whether he’ll make it or not.

I couldn’t help tearing up as I read this سبحان الله.

"Allah is the one who send water from the sky, the He gave life to the earth after the earth was dead."

What did Allah use to give life to the earth? Water.

Without rain, can this planet survive? No!

Allah produces two kinds of things for us by using this water.

Farm, palm trees, grapes, etc -these things dont grow by themselves. We have to take care of these trees. A farm is not made by itself, we have to put a lot of effort into it.

Then there are fruits that grow on their own, without a farmer.

However, the ayah is not about water and sky. That is its second purpose. The primary purpose is defined in the previous ayah where Allah tells us that He sent the book from the sky.

To understand the effect of Allah's book on earth we have to understand the effect of water on earth.

Water is essential for earth, without water it will die. If water is delivered it will bring earth to life. Same is the case with people. If we leave the book of Allah, we'll face a moral and spirituall death.

If Allah's message is delivered to everyone, to every heart, in a perfect manner, Allah will bring it to life.

No matter how bad the situation is, this book has the power to bring people back to life and plant flowers in their life.

Lesson to learn:

If you feel far away from Him, purposeless, dead spiritually, get closer to His book. His words will bring you to life 🌼

Allaah says : “And if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphan girls then marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one or (slaves) that your right hands possess. That is nearer to prevent you from doing injustice”[al-Nisa’ 4:3] . . And it is Sunnah because the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ did it. He had nine wives and Allaah benefited the ummah through them. This is one of the things that applied only to him ﷺ Other men are not allowed to have more than four wives. . . As in the same way If a man is afraid that he will not be able to treat his wives justly if he marries more than one, then it is forbidden for him to marry more than one. What is meant by the justice that is required in order for a man to be permitted to have more than one wife is that he should treat his wives equally in terms of spending, clothing, spending the night with them and other material things that are under his control.  Allaah says ; “but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one”.
