Hey y'all! Some may know with my struggles to keep losing weight. After constantly hearing about it on the radio, I decided to call Quick Weight Loss Center for my "free" consultation.
I went in that day feeling pretty empty already but I was really eager to see if they could help me. The car ride there, I was excited and nervous to see what they had to say.
As I walked through the door, the lady looks me up and down and then proceeds to have a nice conversation with me. I could tell right away that she wanted to make a sale. She showed me around a little bit and then we went to the back where she took my measurements, weight, and blood pressure.
Now, a few days before I weighed myself at home and was about 5 lbs heavier. When she weighed me there, I was wearing clothes, and smirked because I had lost the weight I gained. My blood pressure was gooood (117/70) but my measurements were not.
When we walked into the room and I told her what was my goal weight (120), she left the room, came back, and told me if I used QWLS, it would take me 16 weeks to get to that weight (I'd have to lose about 65 lbs). She was describing the program to me, telling me about all there supplements and meal replacements packages, and then proceeded to tell me that it's best to jump in and get started right away. She pulled out the paper work, starting writing things down, and all I could think of was....I thought this was a free consultation with no obligation on my part. Needless to say, I didn't join the program.
For starters, I do not believe she was certified or anything. Second, I told her about my history and how I lost over 160 lbs and she wasn't listening. Long story short, that consultation put some pep in my step to be even more strict on my diet. I'm taking a new supplement, even though I loved Xenadrine, it did nothing for me except give me the jitters and shakes. I forgot the name of it; I'd have to look on the bottle and I will do a review on it after I see a dip in the scale and my clothes get bitter.
