I ♥ MCR. this zine is my love letter to the band. joined by 8 other amazing writers (some who designed pages), i wrote about my two favorite things: this band and cinema. i started this project in the latter half of 2023, but finished the majority of it this month. i love it. i hope to make more issues in this series. for now, enjoy ALL NIGHT LONG #1. follow @allnightlongzine where i reblog all ANL news and an occasional essay about mcr.

here is my piece for @mcrswarmzine !! i made a collage for bonn night 2, based on the drumhead. this show is very very special to me, so i cant believe the forces that be landed me here. thank you to the mods for their unbelievable management :))

i got my physical copy and it is sooo beautiful. im so happy this exists. you can still get the digital here, so check it out !! so much art so much writing! and the interviews with marina toybina and mark beemer are total revelations. all proceeds go to the charity black and pink :)

collage-art-writing piece for @killrockstar's wonderful bikini kill zine ⚡ i was thinking about how people morph you. parents, strangers, bands. layers. body autonomy, bone-setting, electricity.

[START ID. Single zine page. A pale photo of an arm xray is overlaid by a small, full body medical illustration of the human nervous system. The body is looking towards a cartoon-y illustration of Bikini Kill performing on stage. Yellow highlight is painted across the page to represent stage lights. On the left is typed in serif: "I am dirty for my mind, or anger, or legs, or accent, or sex. A failed woman with teeth can manipulate and cheat, scream and fuck around. Put wires in my mouth. Break my arm and set it right." A handwritten "dirty" overlays the serif word, and "set it right" is highlighted yellow. On the right, in small serif is: "I wouldn't be so fucking mad / if it wasn't so fucking wrong." On top in larger serif: "It feels good / It's all wrong." The word "wrong" connects the two. In handwritten type above the lyrics: "your world has taught me nothing." END ID.]
