Hello! I wanted to let you know that your tarot Dragon Age embroidery is GORGEOUS. I love the subtle accents the metallic and shimmery threading adds to your Solas hierophant. I’ve got kind of a weird question relating to that piece. I’m a nail polish fiend and I really like the metallic green polish you were wearing in one of your photos. Could you tell me what color and brand it is? Either way, thanks for sharing your art!

Haha! Thank you!!! And you are definitely not the first to ask me this, I get questions on any post where my nails in these polishes show (which is many, because its my absolute favorite brand!). It's from I Love Nail Polish's (ILNP) ultrachrome line, which have just massive amounts of color shift and are super beautiful. They're also really nice to apply, 1 coat is sometimes enough alone and 2 coats easily gets full coverage.

In this post with the Hierophant embroidery I'm wearing Reminisce (blue-green-gold)

and in this one with the dalish elf icon I'm wearing Greatness (red-orange-gold)

The brand also sells holo versions of all the ultrachrome colors and some flakies/a lot of other kinds of polish as well, but for me you just can't beat that solid gleam/flash of a straight multichrome. I wish I had photos that show the shifts better but I don't think I do sorry! The example photos on the websites have been pretty good though in my experience.

Hi! I recently discovered your Mass Effect writing on fanfiction and A03 and am loving all of it! Thank you so much for writing and sharing your writing.

I’m curious, in the game Garrus mentions that he always wanted to learn how to paint, but that instead he mostly paints walls with reaper blood. What do you think Garrus would paint if he were more comfortable with his artistic prowess?

And for your question, this is where I'm mad we only visited Palaven's moon and not Palaven itself.. All we've got to go on for turian aesthetics are their warships and that one art piece from Kasumi's loyalty mission. So instead I'll have to go just with Garrus's personality. He says he likes things clear cut and doesn't do well with ambiguity, so I think he's more likely to gravitate toward realism rather than anything abstract. I can see him starting with landscapes and then moving into painting famous battles in turian history.

Do I know you and not know it? Very specific & suspicious.Okay. So my undegrad has this dance thing every year it was like prom but more people were drunk and also they served alcohol if you were over age and it wasn’t as sad as prom and you did not need to bring a date.(Side note: if you are younger than me, like in high school, know this thing -- people get over needing a date. Adult women dance in groups when they don’t have a date. People swap dance partners at dances. Big groups of friends dance. Some people even slow dance with strangers. Needing a date is not a thing that is like...real. End of PSA.)Anyway, I didn’t have a date but that was fine because people go to things as groups so I was like “woo!” so we went to the dance there and while I was there I saw this boy wearing a kilt. Not just any boy, either, the boy I spent astronomy class annoying. Sort of annoying. I dunno astronomy was boring because it was just stuff read off of slides that were photos from the textbook and I vaguely knew this dude and thought he was cute and also he was wearing a kilt so of course I was like “A++++ good shit”.So I jumped on him and nearly knocked him over and that is how I met a boy. He is a+ and also like a man but more like a st. benard puppyPut a word in my ask and I’ll tell you a story or fact about myself based on it

I love your roommate posts because every time I see one I try to figure out which roommate is doing the thing. Like, who buys the lime juice? Which one applied and got hired to be a model for life drawing? I dunno, but it's fun to get these little factoids.

I'm glad somebody enjoys them!It helps that I have 5 of them (two houses, one property, shared spaces like laundry, we're all friends, so I just call them all room/housemates cause it's easier) and they all do all kinds of things.
