[Commissioned by @wannabedemonlord. For the sahkil names, I typically rearrange the letters in thematically appropriate words and add hard consonants as appropriate. This one is based on “acrobat” with a K.]
Sahkil, Rabatok CR 7 NE Outsider This eerily tall creature is a chitin-clad quadruped, its four long legs bending at odd angles. Its head is small and underdeveloped in comparison, with four low-set eyes and jaws like pincers.
Rabatoks are the sahkils of acrophobia, the fear of heights. They lurk in the tallest places of the Ethereal Plane, along the ghosts of towers and cliffs, or astride huge mountains unrestricted by gravity or sense. They frequent similar locations when in the Material, where they delight in causing vertigo and anxiety before simply pushing creatures to a tumbling death.
A rabatok typically attacks with high ground if it can, and its delicate steps and latching claws allow it a wide range of motion on uneven or hazardous terrain. If there are no natural hazards to push enemies off of or onto, they seed the battlefield with magical pits. A favored maneuver to deal with opponents who are resistant or immune to fear is to simply pick them up with telekinesis, drop them to the ground, and repeat as necessary.
A rabatok stands about eighteen feet off of the ground, but is light and nimble, as this is mostly their stilt-like legs.
