picked up a couple of 1960s geiger counters while antique shopping today! the one on the left was $45 and the one on the right was $25 and came with a probe and a manual, so i suspect i overpaid for the first one, but whatever. i have two geiger counters and thats what matters <3

i won’t be able to test them for a few months, i’m not in my home state right now and i don’t trust TSA to let me through with them (even though the official site says they’re allowed) so i’m having a relative who’s already driving to my place in march bring them to me. will report back on their function C:
