I’m having my radiation done on Friday the 13th. If something weird doesn’t happen I’m gonna be disappointed

Thyrogen took so much out of me yesterday that I passed out for 14 hours afterwards

I, a Midwesterner with strong Wisconsin roots, haven’t had cheese in a week bc of my radiation prep and I hate it

A week from today I am scheduled to receive my first thyrogen injection... saying I’m nervous would be putting it lightly

Thursday

Almost a week since I was heading to Toronto for treatment. Its funny because it seems like it was so long ago but also has all gone by quickly. Im feeling ok, I have a cold like virus. Most likely from body being through so much change, lack of nutrition in the hospital and lack of medication. I also have a few cankers in my mouth, a portion of the substance comes out in saliva so it makes sense. My mouth is constantly dry, but my thoat is less sore. I slept really well but am feeling tired today, still coming down from it all :) Im sure by next week ill be feeling more like myself!
