I think it does, because I can see other people experiencing it in ways that seem genuine to me, and not just like….people deciding to settle for one another, you know, which is I think what happens much more often.  Personally my feelings towards other people, even people I genuinely care for, are just way too unstable from day to day for me to feel confident that that kind of, I dunno, lasting love?  will be a possibility for me.  But one can dream.  And even a little burst of love that lasts for a short time can bring its own gifts, even if they’re hard to process under the circumstances.

tower: what do you most want to change about yourself?

What strikes me about this is like I wish I could know what my answer would have been like over the years hahaha, because I think it’s probably changed a lot in telling ways.

Mostly right now what I wish is that I could unlearn a lot of social conditioning that really fucked me up.  I’ve realized in recent years that my instincts about things are generally solid, but I’ve been so heavily trained not to even think about that, to pay attention to what I think I Should Be Doing as opposed to what feels right to me, that it’s a full day-long dramatic process to convince myself that the simplest feeling is probably the right one.

moon: do you have any recurrent dreams?

My dreams are super boring and annoying mostly.  I’ll just like dream I had a text or phone conversation that didn’t happen and then have to wake up and realize that that wasn’t a part of reality hahaha.

judgement: how confident are you in yourself?

Hmmm.  I’m very confident in my skills, my intelligence, my ability to learn, and my process for doing so.  Those aren’t really things I ever call into question, even in the midst of Random Anxiety About Everything--indeed, they’re often the things that ground me during those times.  Anything that falls outside of those categories, though?  Definitely up for debate at any time of day or night hahahaha.
