It was Splinter Takeover for weekly magma so I chose 2012 rat dad!!

I’ve been doing a lot of Rise stuff when I do draw so doing a different iteration was fun

I participate in magma themes from afar, not on magma

(people watching me draw makes me nervous fgjdjgjsjfh)

First is last week’s theme: Alignment Change because when Draxum was a wee lad, watching the Library of Alexandria burn

Second is this week’s theme: Musicals - I really love the song Confrontation from the Jekyll and Hyde musical which felt very fitting for Draxum in trying to grapple with becoming part of the Hamato fam u.u

Later in the night hopped onto the Rise release party magma and threw out some Draxums

There’s more I want to do with Young Draxum - maybe a mini comic 🤔

But I started not realizing that one of the boards was Bad Timeline (I was just tryin to find spaaaace) so I had to take regular timeline Draxibald and en-olden him so that’s why there’s just two of the same Drax

I spent far too long on bad timeline Drax in the margins 🫩 don’t get me wrong, absolutely worth it, but my goodness

And I also squeezed in a teensy tinsy Vincent on one of the OC boards ~

There was much more I had wanted to do for the album/fantasy band theme for magma, but I was very stressed out and fragilé so this alone took it out of me even though it’s not even full finished 😣

At the very least, I’m not despising it like I was when I was originally working on it! Nearly deleted it several times and was so infuriated that I had to keep stepping away 🤦🏻

But anyway! Infestissumam Draxum and Raph - in the end, it was fun to pair some of my favorite things together ✨✨

The weekly magma theme was dancing 🕺

I pulled on my big boy britches and actually drew ON the magma too so everybody clap lol

First is my Vidal and Lou Jitsu dancing during a Battle Nexus fight! Vidal actually starts off as one of Big Mama’s fighters/body guards - he acts as more of a cleanup crew but with Lou Jitsu being Top Fighter and all, he steps in just to make it interesting~ Weapons down and just bodying this man into dancing (Lou would do well with a healthy dose of fear I think)

Then I drew Vidal and Draxum - I’m not entirely happy with how this turned out. It’s something about their faces that just disgruntles me. But! It was fun to figure out all the different stickers in magma to create a cool effect!

Then it’s old man Leo and my character Dva. He is also one of four brothers created by the Russian govt as a military experiment. Dva is teaching Leo how to dance which requires him to be a lil less loosey goosey and more Properly Postured
