Blood on Unsullied Snow // Crimson Knight-Errant

New RDM glam! I love how this look has a lightweight traveller's vibe to it while still giving the impression of being armoured with the sabatons and all the hardware on the coat and halfgloves and all. Actually really pleased with this one; the SGE artifact gears have always been really cool to me, so I'm glad I got the chance to make outfits using them now for Raginmar.

The Archeo Kingdom gear is a reskin of the Rinascita gear from Endwalker, and what I really like about it is the little red detailing on the sabatons that matches the Dalamud Red scarf of the Asklepian Coat almost perfectly. I actually didn't notice it until I was taking the screenshots; it was really a lovely little surprise.

Man and chocobo alike gazed at that which was once Yyasulani; now ensconced in a crackling dome of energy, with lightning flashing intermittently within, the distant sight of it marred the view of the plains of Shaaloani considerably. It was a beacon of danger and things unknown, and it would be prudent to rest before attempting to breach it. Raginmar would not be travelling through unfamiliar lands, not after his travels with Wuk Lamat and the Scions, but not even he dared to traverse that fusion of two worlds, so riddled by catastrophe, without care.

Went to Wolves' Den Pier for the first time in a long while (I do not like doing PvP) just to see what's up and why isn't Forte a PvE skill??? The animations look so good!

Admittedly the Admiral calling the WoL lad/girl is perfectly reasonable when you consider Meteor-Survivor-WoL is in his 20s at most and Hyllizirn is in her early 20s here, but in this universe the Warrior of Light is a war veteran only a year younger than Merlwyb herself (laughs) where do you get off calling your peer "lad", Merlwyb!

Incidentally, Raginmar took Merlwyb aside after the whole confrontation with 2nd Order Patriarch Za Da and told her, "For your sake, Admiral, I hope you keep your word this time." He said it very simply, almost as if remarking on the weather, but it was very much a threat.

It was a threat from the Champion of Eorzea who so happened to be a Captain in the Maelstrom's Foreign Levy, who commanded a squad of adventurers who had become elite soldiers in their own right. Should Limsa Lominsa betray their covenant with the Kobolds once again, the Foreign Levy would lose these valiant [and valuable] soldiers—as well as the support of Eorzea's most vaunted champion.)

This was originally posted on Twitter in 2023 when Encyclopaedia Eorzea III was first released featuring RPR lore unexplored in the game. As per said lore, Fionn—being a warmachina created by the VIIth Imperial Legion as an offshoot of their Weapons Project—should not be capable of summoning and forming a pact with a voidsent to become a Reaper.
