It is nighttime and we are Yearning
I wish to live in a house with enough ground for some cows and goats, I would like a couple of chickens and I hear raising geese is rewarding.
I don't always picture another person in my dream, but a partner/friend would be nice, we could sit by the fireplace watching the flames eat away the wood I cut earlier, bake pies on the weekends, play boardgames and roast our own vegetables.
I dream about making a pond in which frogs can make a living. I dream about watering the plants with the water I collected in my rain barrels, and seeing the insects dance from flower to flower. I dream about having a proper compost heap, about my rooms overflowing with sunlight and plants, about singing without worrying anyone might hear and dancing without worrying anyone might see.
I dream about being at peace.
