Somewhat work in progress: "box" turtle!

Based on a spiny softshell turtle, this sculpture opens up to a box compartment. I added a little sewn cushion to maybe hold a necklace or sewing needles or something. Right now the lid slides around too much so I'm going to put some edging and maybe hinges on it to help it close properly.

Suffolk sheep! Not planning (for now) on glazing it (...maybe the small ones... minecraft-sheep-like... if I get transparent coloured glazes... but I don't have them for now). Sheep second to last and last are actually almost the same size, but second to last took about four times as long to do (better feet and wool)

Inspired by Nolanfa's sheep and their clay slip textured wool, I decided to try my hand at making a lil fluffy alpaca/llama guy! Next time I will try colored slip, but this time I chose to use black slip on black clay body, and just dipped the wool in a white glaze (you can see the edges of the black clay through the white).
