Had a thought based on this sketch by @hoshihiime that said Rain doesn’t smoke… I had thoughts. CW: Mention of smoking recreational.

The first time Rain tries one of Mountain’s joints, he inhales a big puff, and promptly freaks out when he exhales and the smoke comes out of his gills.

He thinks he’s on fire and runs out of the greenhouse to the lake and jumps in.

Dew has to go find him because now Rain’s stoned, sitting at the bottom of the lake and hyperventilating.

Blowing out smoke bubbles.

Dew gets a contact high from Rain.

Mountain’s sitting on the dock waiting for them, jeans rolled up, feet in the water, watching the bubbles pop and inhaling the sweet smell.

Later; when Swiss finds them all high as kites, sprawled on the lawn, he’s all - “What’d I miss??”

Rain grins as he takes another puff….

rain hates the winter, al of his joints hurt and the air is dry and he's always cold, he just cant stand it, he loves cuddling with dew all winter but he doesn't love that its out of necessity, he'd much rather he cuddle with dew because they both just want to but he know tat over the winter its because dew just wants to ease the pain, rain even had one of those stuffed animals that you put in the microwave and dew will spin in front of the microwave along with the stuffy to try to make rain laugh, it always works

Rain is the kind of person to pick someone and go out of his way to match them, he's been phantoms damsel in distress (the year phantom was a vampire), he's been Amanda from saw to match dewdrops Billy, him and mountain have been various plants and every few years he'll let the ghoulettes dress him up however they want with absolutely no limits which has resulted in him being some type of Princess including princess peach quite a few times

Rain isn’t someone who particular likes parties, it just feels like to much for him most of the time unless its a pool / lake party, for inside parties he tends to stick close to mountain as a way to hide, they both get spooked when the other leaves their sight but mountain isn't hard to find, for parties down at the lake rain is kinda forced to help with planning seeing as it is in his space, he does have a “go to” plan that usually consists of fruity drinks being sipped by the water, if its around sunset he’ll string fairy lights through the trees around the water and along the path, overall rains parties are pretty chill but very much enjoyed

Rain is one of the OG slime girlies, he’s since evolved into a lipgloss girly, He's the only person that the ghoulettes will get their lipgloss from. Aurora usually also asks him to throw in a small container of slime (he always does) in return for the slime she'll offer to bedazzle some of his lipgloss containers, he always takes her up on the offer, the two of them started their own little black market for cutesy little trinkets that almost Everton else is in on, Phantom and mountain have gotten really good at finding rocks and shells that rain and Rory will like but they’ve turned it into a competition where they’ll pit rain and Aurora against each other using various tasks and the winner gets all the trinkets

rain usually gets cumulus to put small duckies on his socks, its almost like his calling card but every now and then she'll surprise him with a pair that has a whole scene on it, usually a pond with clouds in the sky and some ducks following their mother in the water, rain cries every time she does this from the sheer amount of cuteness alone

Rain isn't one for toys usually but bath toys are a totally different story, Rain has more rubber duckies than most people could ever imagine, he once ordered a box of 500 and when they arrived he dumped them all in a kiddie pool to "wash" them (he just wanted them to all swim together) by the end of it he was also in the pool and having the time of his life
