I just spent twenty minutes waiting for the bus, it’s cloudy and sprinkling, my one friend has been talking in an Irish accent the whole time, and I spent half the wait running along the edge of the sidewalk beside the road while going “bumbumbumbumbump”

okay but waking up in the middle of the night to soft rain and knowing you've got hours to sleep, when you're toasty warm and comfortable and sleep has made you forget all your worries and you go back to sleep feeling as content as ever.

A storm rolls in on a saturday afternoon

I open my windows to smell the earthy brew

Wind moves the trees to a nurishing tune

Get ready to soak up the refreshing & new

Powerful clensing magic in natures simplicity

Pure peacefulness of washing away toxicity

I rest my head on the window sill lulled by faint thunder

Relaxed & released i freely let my mind wonder

Around sweet day dream of whats to become

Raindrops fall faster & wind swirls a mix of skys musical hum

Rolling clouds circle after a strike of piercing light

I could be soothed by this earthly song all night

I sprawl on soft blankets & the cat lays next to me

This feeling is making me light & feathery

My windchime it sways to the beat of the breeze

My eyes seem to flutter i doze off with ease

The sun shines through this tropical shower

I could lay here in bed & curl up for hours

With each falling droplet im feeling transformed

Who would have thought id fall in love with a storm.
