Completed commission for iShark5060 on twitter! Fullbody cel shaded commission. I was tasked with designing the robotic arm and the belt based on loose descriptions and aesthetics. That, combined with the challenge of drawing/figuring out a couple different diverse accessories based on some loose references, was a really good exercise. Tricky, but very beneficial and paid off! So over a year ago (or more?) I got a toned tan and toned grey sketchbook for my birthday. Shortly after I sketched and lined this bust and it took me like all the way until midsummer this year to color it, after I went out and bought some cool white markers that are fun to use on toned paper. So I colored this bust finally using some crayons markers I've had since 6th grade, variety of white opaque markers, colored ballpoint pens, and a white gelly roll pen. Did this after I first tried this technique on a dragon drawing (that I will upload later). It was pretty fun. This was a piece I made a little while ago for puppypower123 on dA. Pup has always been very sweet to me, she has generously drawn me art multiple times, so I wanted to make her something big as a huge thank you for the drawings she has made for me and any future ones that may ever come my way, too! I put a good deal of time into this but I think it was certainly worth it as I made something for someone who had always been very kind to me, and I also made progress and breakthrough in artistic approach to my painted shading.

I got to experiment with my painterly shading style when I did this since I had been feeling unsatisfied with my technique; I pinned down some new approaches to putting down layers and shading. Enjoy!

Cute couple piece for my good buddy, NexusKey on dA Art trade of sorts; I drew a couple piece and she made me 2 lovely solo character pieces in return!Really enjoyed working on this, I have always loved Nae's deer sona, and this was basically the first time I got to draw a monkey??? It was really fun, monkey faces are actually pretty cute and it was fun rendering the longer hair and fur detail in a tweaked cel shading with soft under shading that has become my go-to basically shading approach aside. I have really been working out this shading technique that I will be sticking with! Plain cel shading hasn't always looked good to me when I do it, so the way I have figured it out for myself makes me quite happy! Enjoy! --------------------------

I can't believe I forgot to share this! I photographed it like over a month ago and had it edited and ready to post and everything! This was my Perspective I final in my first semester of college. Had to do 3 point perspective; I elected to do a mall full of furries (because thats surprising).

Micron pens and some assorted black ink markers on velum paper. All these characters come from my stash of OCs; theres even a little cameo of me and my partner in the middle on the little couch.

I do want to color this some day! Enjoy.
