Makoto Kagutsuchi X Reader😋
Like NOBODY wants a Makoto x Reader but i do soo…This is my first ever x Reader thingy so please don’t be too hard on me😓
The rain had become a constant companion in the secluded city, a rhythmic backdrop to the lives of its inhabitants. High above the streets, in a sleek, modern penthouse at the top of Amaterasu Tower, Makoto Kagutsuchi watched the droplets race down the glass. The penthouse was a fortress of luxury, all sharp angles and tones of white, gold, red and gray, a perfect match for its enigmatic owner.
Makoto was a figure shrouded in mystery. As the CEO of Amaterasu Corporation, they commanded power and respect(Not from Yomi tho💀), their every move calculated and precise. Yet, beneath the cold exterior, a heart beat with quiet intensity, yearning for something more than the solitude of success.
Reader had entered Makoto’s life in a whirlwind, a chance encounter at a place known as the “Golden Path Cafe”. Their eyes had met from across the sweet smelling room, and in that moment, the noise and tempting sweets faded away. Makoto was drawn to Reader’s aura, a blend of confidence and warmth that cut through the veneer of the event.
Weeks had passed since that day, and now Reader stood in Makoto’s penthouse, a long awaited and welcome guest. The rain pattered softly against the windows as Makoto turned from the view, his eyes finding Reader’s.
“You seem to be at home in this city’s endless rain” Makoto observed, his voice low and smooth. “Most people find it depressing.”
Reader smiled, a soft curve of the lips that sent a warm shiver through Makoto. “I find it soothing. It’s like the world is washing away its worries.”
Makoto nodded, moving to the sleek red leather sofa.He gestured for Reader to join them. As Reader settled beside him, Makoto found himself drawn to the subtle scent of their Perfume/Cologne, a mix of S/n(Scent name). and something indefinable but comforting.
“How do you manage it?” Reader asked suddenly, turning to face Makoto. “All the power, the responsibility. Doesn’t it get lonely?”
Makoto’s eyes darkened, the question touching a nerve he rarely exposed. “It does,” he admitted, his gaze dropping to the floor. “But it’s a price I’ve chosen to pay. Until recently, I thought it was worth it.”
Reader’s eyes softened. “And now?”
Makoto’s breath hitched slightly as he met Reader’s gaze. “Now… I’m not so sure.”
The silence that followed was thick with unspoken words. Makoto felt a pull, a magnetic force drawing them closer to Reader. It was as if the rain outside had created a cocoon around them, isolating them from the world and allowing them to be vulnerable.
Reader reached out, their hand resting gently on Makoto’s. The touch was electric, a jolt that sent heat rushing through Makoto’s veins. “You don’t have to be alone,” Reader whispered. “Not anymore.”
Makoto’s heart pounded in their chest. He had built walls around himself , but here was someone willing to scale them. Slowly, hesitantly, Makoto lifted his mask just enough to allow his lips to be perceived and leaned in. Reader met them halfway, their lips brushing in a tender kiss.
It was a kiss that spoke of promises and possibilities, a kiss that hinted at a future free from the shadows of loneliness. As they pulled away, Makoto felt a rare smile tug at their lips. For the first time in a long time, they felt a glimmer of hope.
The rain continued to fall, but inside the penthouse, a new chapter was beginning. And for Makoto Kagutsuchi, the future had never looked brighter.
