Can we have some facts about Spottedleaf and Oakheart?

Last time I'm doing this for now! Thornpaw and Ravenwing will be passed on due to some stuff with them in the next book.

Spottedleaf almost completely lacked any fear throughout her life. In fact, I'm hard pressed to think of anything she was genuinely afraid of since she was a kit. She saw the first path ahead of her, assumed it wasn't changeable, and accepted it immediately. Even when she foresaw her own death, she was more sad than scared. She wanted to be around a little longer, you know? There was some stuff coming she would've been excited to see happen in the flesh. But it wasn't scary. Sure, drowning would be uncomfortable, but she knew where she was going when she died, so it was just another thing to happen to her.

Oakclaw was the tallest cat in his immediate family. His brother wasn't too far behind him, but I would describe Crookedstar as generally large as opposed to tall. With Oakclaw, you could really register his height in a way that would make one think "Jeez, does he have some other Clan in his blood?". He was kind of universally handsome with that height and his well-shaped head. I personally envision him as looking about as not-RiverClan as a full-blooded RiverClanner can look, but that's more subjective.

Wrenwhisker has had multiple cats from outside his Clan pause, look at him, and think something along the lines of, "Hel-lo, handsome lad." Were any of them from other Clans (besides Ravenwing)? Iunno. But he's gotten at least a couple cats of various genders to take a second to check him out before they continued on with their business. I don't know why, it's not like he looks too different from his Clanmates, or is even particularly handsome in WindClan's eyes. Maybe it's his aloof posture or something. He's certainly aware of when this happens, and it amuses him every time.

Rainpath is hoping to mentor at least one apprentice a year, and see how many he ends up raising over the course of his life. No specific reason, he just thinks it's a good thing to dedicate himself to. He's first on the list of mentors for new litters when he'll be available.

Hi! Same anon that started to read the rewrite theses days, i just finished reading the first book(yes, i read most of it in one day) and i'm starting the second one, and i have come with more praise!

I adored some of the concepts that you added, such as the numbers, the three blessing apprentices, and how some of the new characters interactions(Brindle and Speckle scolding Lizard for mocking Fire, Lion and Fire stare down, and the elders, god, how i love the elders), i love how the clans united against Brokenstar at the end and i loved that even in a war situation, Firepaw stuck with his morals and talked with Rainpaw to help take the kits back. Also i found the new family tree interesting, some changes(like Dust and Raven not being siblings, i kinda always expected that to be one of the least changed things in rewrites)surprised me and others were expected(aka Cinder being separated from the Frostfour and adding Snow to that), but i must say one of my favourite changes was Patch and Raven i love them so much, i would die for them.

I will be starting chapter 5 of Burning hearts tomorrow(since it's again 4am to me here), but i have 2 questions here, in relation to Broken and family stuff. During the gathering with Fire little group, it is mentioning that talking about a dead cat, even if they are hunted down from the existence(from what i understood, sorry it is not actually this), would kinds bring them back? Like if they remember this cat, the spirit would ressurge or something similar? What would happen in that scenario?

Also, the family thing, Blackstar mentions that Dipperthroat, Rainpath and Badgerpaw are his nephews, Badgerpaw is Fernshade's kit with a who that i currently forgot the name off, so if it's not too much to ask, what would their parents be? Also sorry, for this massive ask, i'm kinda really active right now after ending the first book.

For your first question - we've covered it a bit here and there, but the gist is that the Clans believe that mentioning a cat who had their name erased (especially by name) risks bringing them back as a wraith to haunt the territories. Even though the ALSO believe that Horoa will chase down and destroy any dangerous souls and the Clans are completely safe thanks to their gods. It's one of the things in Clan culture that is contradictory and Is Not To Be Questioned Despite Making No Logical Sense. There's a couple of those in this setting.

As for the second question!

LYNX: Blackstar, Fernshade, and Flintfang are all siblings. Their mother is Sloeflower (Hollyflower), who did not disclose the identity of the sire of her kittens. There were some rumors (that even Yellowfang would remain tastefully hush-hush about) that Blizzardpelt, mate of the previous matriarch Eaglestorm, was their sire. Regardless to the validity of the rumors, Blizzardpelt would not be comfortable in the Clan ever again.

The less said about him, the better, Blackstar and his siblings believe.

Either way, Flintfang is Dipperthroat and Rainpath's father (I do not know who the mother is, especially since Shadowclan is unhelpfully tom-heavy), and Badgerpaw is Fernshade's son with Flyheart.

Does Rainpath have a closer working relationship with ShadowClan's Matriarch than other Clan cats, given that he wants to train at least one apprentice each year? And is he on the list of potential deputies to replace Russetfur if she either dies, retires, or becomes leader herself?

The answer to both of these is no! He's still a tom without a mate in the nursery, so he keeps his distance to be polite and only engages with the kits once they're allowed outside and can play freely. Plus, he's not really a leader-type. He's content to mentor as much as he can and bring pride to his Clan that way. He doesn't need or want any authority higher than that.
