Favorite breed(s)?
I don’t really have favorites since each horse is different. But I love the way most thoroughbreds and warmbloods look and move under saddle. I also love the old fashion Morgans that were sturdy and tough looking, not the saddlebred-like ones that are bred today. Plus Friesians always remind me of a fairytale. And drafts and miniature horses will always have a soft spot in my heart. —See! Too many to choose from!

When I first started riding it was an awful experience. I rode the sweetest mare named Grace, who was a bay Appaloosa. I started riding when I was four, fresh into kindergarten. By my first lesson I was trotting, by my third I was cantering- the three lessons after I couldn't seem to stay on- but when I finally did I was pushed straight into jumping. I was at 3' the third month I started, and then I got really bad frostbite in my toes and quit for the winter. Luckily I didn't quit for good!
oh wow that really sucks. I hate when barns/coaches push people too fast cuz it can really screw people over with their position. It happened to my friend too but they pushed her too much so she ended up quitting cuz she was scared. I’m glad you didn’t though!
