rakhsh
(Azar is a sweetheart like everytime I remember that I killed them I'm like "should've made someone else to kill")
any way, blade and rakhsh. this was spontaneous so I'm not sure where I'm going with them yet BUT little hc's because hc's are always nice
• rakhsh grew up around a lot of children(siblings/cousins/nieces and nephews from his older cousins/etc etc.) which made him gain the talent of realizing what someone wants without them actually voicing their want.
• blade is mostly quiet, a man of (very) few words, so rakhsh just subconsciously uses that talent of his to figure out what blade wants
• a brief brush of his hand? he's already holding blades hand and pulling him closer. a subtle glance when rakhsh is video calling azar? rakhsh is pulling blade into the video frame and introducing the two.
• both of them are quite stoic and quiet but between the two rakhsh is (probably) more vocal. (about his needs, wants, dreams, etc)
• even if he doesn't care about scarring or blemishes, rakhsh cares a lot about wounds and healing. poor guy learned blade's immortal the (very) hard way, which involved a lot of tears.
• would take relationship advice from Azar since they dated a large variety of people but would ultimately do everything opposite of the advise azar gave him because he's a scoundrel. (and because he covered up more than a few failed dates from their parents but we don't need to talk about that)
• rakhsh was actually quite fascinated by the kintsugi done on blade's sword, causing their actual first conversation and interaction with each other.
• is actually quite relieved that blade is immortal since he has a lot of unresolved attachment issues since he never had friends of his own when he was a kid (I'd elaborate on that on another episode of the siblings' childhood)
• rakhsh's imagination ran WILD the first time he saw the stellaron hunter wearing a suit and tie (mine did too) let's just say rakhsh wasn't too happy about the instant self-healing blade had
• both are horrid with words, physical touch and acts of service are mostly their thing (the latter mostly done by rakhsh)
• blade's memory is failing him cause of the mara but like, I don't know how to say it, you know how pets act guarded around their owners for a few seconds when they were gone for an extended amount of time before melting? yeah that's blade
• when sleeping next to each other rakhsh'd absentmindedly trace words from his mother tongue on blade's body with his fingertips.
• azar braids flowers into rakhsh's hair, rakhsh in turn learned this from azar and braids flowers into blade's hair, no one is allowed to talk about it.
• the siblings don't really do double dates with one of their partners being an intergalactic criminal and the other being a proud soldier/captain. not that they'd kill each other, it's just awkward.

THIS IS ACTUALLY SO WHOLESOME
Also about Rakhsh being relieved about Blade's immortality. Can't help but wonder about his reaction to the fact that the future Elio promised to Blade is death
A lil bit of Persian folklore that might kinda explain why nandor had loved his horse so much.
That was actually a thing for many, if not all, persian warriors. Their horse was everything to them. Their horse was what gave them a great edge in battle and was their most trusted companion as they traveled vast expanses of earth to conquer and take revenge. Warriors on horses were always the highest ranked ones whereas the lower ranks were foot soldiers and easily expendable.
The ancient Persians loved their horses so much they were actually named after them! For example, Lohrasb, a name for men, means ‘owner of a fast horse.’ Or Gashtasb, another male name, means ‘owner of a ready horse’. Or ‘Tahmasb’ means ‘owner of a strong horse’. Notice that ‘asb’ at the end of the names? It means ‘horse’ in Persian.
But the most famous horse tale in Persian folklore is ‘Rakhsh’ رخش, the beloved horse of Rostam, the greatest and strongest hero of them all.
When rostam was just a child, he was so big and strong that ordinary horses could not stand his sheer weight. But then came Rakhsh. A red and white stallion. Rakhsh actually chose Rostam. Whenever someone else approached Rakhsh, its mother would scare them away. But apparently Rostam was the right one for Rakhsh.
And Rakhah was such a loyal and smart horse it saved Rostam’s life on many occasions and in the end, they died a tragic death together.
I'm sleep deprived but hear me out (I haven't played hsr in a week I'm dying)
I mentioned that rakhsh primarily shows affection through physical touch, coupled with argenti's very, very very, very affirmative words (it was necessary) these two are insufferable to look at.
rakhsh has a hard time processing and accepting words of affirmation since he overthinks whatever someone says to him to the point where he thinks they're just trying to butter him up.
argenti takes his time with rakhsh, even offering for him to be as clingy as he wants.
some nights they'd just be laying down, facing each other with their hands interlocked. argenti would slowly and quietly compliment the other, for very insignificant things before slowly getting a bit bolder and giving him praise for things such as his swordsmanship, family orientation, etcetera etcetera. and rakhsh is very fidgety, I've mentioned it before, I think. so when he slowly starts doubting the genuineness of the other's words, he'd unconsciously start squeezing his hand, and when he does so, argenti easily picks it up and starts reaffirming his words and even going as far as bringing up reasons for why he thinks in such way.
anyways they're wholesome I love them 🐙
THEY'RE DEAR TO ME
rakhsh having not many friends didn't really affect his social skills. he often conversed and socialized with azar's friends, and has a few close mutual friends with Azar (two, specifically). he prefers being alone but after losing Azar he realized how lonely he feels. he tries to overcome this feeling by putting more effort into being social, but he comes off as awkward and standoffish. the only true friends he found over the years are argenti and boothill. Azar usually pushed him to make friends since they were young, but, whenever he made friends with someone and introduced his friend to Azar, the friend would just click with azar, usually bringing their conversations and connections with Rakhsh to a bare minimum and sticking around Azar more and more. cause of that rakhsh just gave up on making friends of his own, only having one friend who Azar isn't friends with because they didn't share any similar interests.
in the current timeline; that lack of friends didn't bother him much until he lost azar and now he pushes himself to make friends, to make his sibling proud if not for his own self.
in alternative universe; the lack of friends doesn't affect him since he still has his sibling but does occasionally try to strike up conversations and making friends just for the fun of it

Would pull 🙏🏻
one of the only things that ever flustered boothill was that at the earlier stages of their situationship, rakhsh put his fingers, without a warning, in boothill's mouth to check how sharp his teeth were. like legit just reached out. boothill is still confused over what went through the knights head till this day -🐙
I WOULD BE CONFUSED AF TOO
