THANK YOU yes I love my bad guys but they deserve the love! Ok time to go off again about lockedtomb John Gaius because he's truly THE most relatable antagonist I've ever encountered. His origin story hit hard - impeccable spiral of road to hell paved with good intentions, the best and worst of humanity at once, absolutely what most of us would do when suddenly invested with divine powers. I truly can't relate to anyone who dismisses him outright as a flat-out evil figure or "just" a roadblock on the way to a happy ending. That guy is all of us

11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to?

I have a few things. My favorite is the stuffed bear my folks bought me when I was five. I named him Teddy (original, right?) and he was dearly loved. He's pretty flat now, and most of his fur has been loved off. But I guess that just makes him real. <--- blatant call-back to The Velveteen Rabbit and the Skin Horse.

13. first thing you’re doing in the purge?

Batten down the hatches and stay home. I figure with my hermit ways, I'd be pretty safe. Other than my family, my friends, and the local cops, nobody really knows where I live and it's a place where most wouldn't even think about checking out. That's the way I like it.

OK SO there's this cute gold necklace I always wear. It's very small with sort of a geometric motif. My parents gave it to me. I found out a couple of years ago that it was a gift my dad originally bought for his first serious girlfriend and ig she gave it back when they broke up? Like 35/40 years ago? I know nothing else about this woman. Thank you for the necklace Rita.

i've been doing graffiti art for a lot of years. started with simple stuff but now some nights i'll go out and just cover a whole wall with anything that comes to mind

i do like it. it's pretty relaxing tbh. maybe i'll share something sometime
