What is your favorite vacation memory?
“When I was 10, I remember my parents took us to Corpus Christi. We spent a few days there in this nice hotel, but my favorite day was the one where we spent all of it on the beach. My brother and I collected seashells, mom packed us sandwiches, dad let us bury him in the sand. We didn’t leave until the sun was gone. It was... It was a really good day.”
What lesson did you recently learn that you should've already known?
“That not everyone is out to get you. That some people really do just want to help. I guess for a while there I just kind of...forgot.”
What movie trope annoys you the most?
“I hate, hate, hate when the main girl in the movie is useless. It’s just so dumb because girls kick ass. I watched Mikaela restore an entire tank by herself. I watched Annabelle do a round off into a back flip then slide into a split. Aj beat the crap out of a bunch of soldiers in hand to hand training. Moonracer fought off wave after wave of drones single handedly in Austin. Girls rule.”

What is your favorite thing about Earth?
“You!! Well, I mean, all humans of course. Not you specifically, I’m sorry I didn't mean to sound odd or creepy- Ratchet says I need to tone down my eagerness on such topics. Anyways, humans are just so clever. You’re like us in so many ways, and your creativity knows no bounds. Some species have very specific skill sets that they excel in, but it seems like you humans excel in so much! Science, Art, Music, all of it!”
What do you miss the most about Cybertron?
“Hmm, I could say my lab, but my lab here in UHAC is very nice. It’s really come along and it makes me miss my one back home less and less. I guess, my answer is the science community. I love the communities I've found here on Earth, but I had many a good friend in the ones on Cybertron and I do miss talking to them about the new advances we’ve discovered. Communication with Cybertron is open so I’ve been able to speak to a few but... well, the war took away many a friend from me.”
If there was something you could change about your current circumstance what would it be?
“Some more materials would be nice. Sam has been very good at getting us things we need and we get a good amount through the space bridge from Cybertron, but officials on Cybertron are not exactly thrilled with our presence here so our supplies are limited. Ratchet, of course, gets first dibs on any supplies we do get and I understand that entirely! However, it puts a restriction on experiments I would like to run.”

Where do you spend most of your free time?
“It definitely varies! I like to mix things up so me and my friends will be a little of everywhere. During the summer we go all around town, but during the school year I’m so busy between soccer and cheerleading and other clubs that I’m almost always at school doing something or another!”
Do you think that aliens exist?
“You’re asking me, the girl who had Ironhide as her best friend/nanny growing up, if aliens exist? I’m going to go with yes. I think they’re out there.”
What is the biggest holiday for your family?
“Christmas. For sure. Mom always hosts the Christmas party and we somehow manage to fit everyone under one roof- and by everyone that includes all the Autobots stationed in Nevada who aren’t on duty. Mom says the ‘bots have always been obsessed with the holiday for some reason.”

What is your favorite shirt?
“Alright, I got this one shirt, that everyone has been begging me to throw away for years now, but it’s lucky as shit and it ain’t going anywhere. It’s a normal looking navy t-shirt, but I’ve worn it on dozens of missions. It’s kinda old, gotta few holes and blood stains, but that shirt hasn't failed me yet.”
What would be the scariest monster you could imagine?
“We had this mission, ages ago now, where some drones were fucking up shit over in China. It was nearly 2 in the morning when they had to airdrop us in... sometimes the drones will- they’ll like combine or something crazy like that. We don’t see it often. Anyways, they ended up doing that and it created this giant garbage disposal a- a vortex of metal shards and teeth that just swallowed anything near it whole. We didn't see it in time. Airdropped right in. Some of us managed to dive out of its warpath...some of us didn't. When you see shit like that you can’t really imagine anything worse, ya know? That sets the bar pretty damn high.”
What do you do to unwind?
“Work out, I guess. There ain’t nothing a 3 mile run won’t cure. Video games are a quick way to relax too. Unless I’m playing Blue and Bee. Then it’s a battle to the death.”

What’s the weirdest smell you have ever smelled?
“Energon in the blood form. Not so much the energon they ingest, but once it becomes their life force it takes on a weird smell and texture. I can’t even really describe it, but I’d recognize it anywhere! I asked Ratchet about it, and he says the smell is recognizable but not really noticeable to them? It’s what electricity would smell like... that and something sharply sour. Sorry, I wish I could describe it better!”
What are some things you had to unlearn?
“Funnily enough, my engineering training! When I started to work with Ratchet he had to teach me to forget a lot of human habits and ways of doing things while working because they didn't convey well over in Cybertronian anatomy.”
What do you have doubts about?
“Realistically? I guess... Smokescreen. Don’t get me wrong it isn’t him that I have doubts about, specifically. I love Smokes with my whole being. As cheesy as it might sound, he’s my soulmate and I know it. But... I’m human and he’s Cybertronian. Best case scenario, I live the longest human life possible but that’s still next to nothing for him. We haven’t really talked about it. I don't think either one of us really wants to. I also doubt that I deserve him. I can’t give him what a Cybertronian femme can and I always worry that I’m depriving him of a full life.”

How comfortable are you speaking in front of large groups of people?
“I hated it as a kid. It actually wasn’t until after my teacher forced me to be in this play as a kid that I realized speaking in front of people wasn’t so bad. Now, I have to talk in front of people all the time for meetings and conferences. It doesn't even faze me anymore.”
What risks are worth taking?
“There’s a lot, in my opinion. Anything involving my family is worth the risk. The Autobots are a risk that I’m glad we all took. I think a risk worth taking, that might be more applicable for everyone, is giving out second chances. Granted, there are exceptions don’t get me wrong, but in general I think people are worth that risk.”
What is your favorite alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink?
“Alcoholic would have to be an old fashioned. Can’t go wrong with that. Non-alcoholic? Ok, so it might sound weird, but my daughter Amy has these little juice boxes and those things are very addicting I’m not gonna lie.”
