Tbh I cant wait to see more of Steve Cob's reincarnation
I didnât line and ink the last two because theyâre full pages and a bit too complicated for me to have the patience to give the full treatment, sorry.
Carapaceâs suit is really complicated but anyway I canât wait for him to appear for real because I want him to be the group jokester.
My precious Kitty Boy...
@sealfarts I love you Mariel!!
@anipwrites Always for you, Ani.
@time-is-strange I combined it with the Tea Time, I hope you donât mind!
@mishi-thefishy I agree, Kwami Tea Time is one of the BEST things to come out of season 2.
MY WEAKNESS: MUTUALLY SUPPORTIVE LADYNOIR!!!
I really, really like this idea but I wasnât quite sure I was able to fully execute it the way you described, sorry lol. I just did some designs but I hope you like them! If you have anymore ideas on it Iâd like to hear them!
I havenât really thought about the unseen heroes, but since we know theyâre based on the Chinese Zodiac, I thought of a design for my sign: the Tiger!! We havenât really seen the Miraculouses clearly so Iâm not sure if itâs a bracelet or a hair-tie or something, but anyway.
Her weapons are ribbons, like the ones they use in gymnastics, mostly inspired by this one ridiculous episode of Ranma 1/2 where Ranma fights Kodachi and ribbons come into it but I promise itâs not as useless as it sounds. When sheâs not using them, they tie around her and the trailing ends look like the tail! I havenât developed her further than this, but this was a fun, thank you!
Drabble Request! From the post shenanigumiDOTtumblrDOTcom_post_158321196104_shinpachi-andor-harada-do-you-think-chizuru-is Would you consider writing up a drabble about Shinpat and Harada "setting her straight"?????
Note: Sure! Hereâs a link to the post in a more manageable format since Iâm pretty sure people will need a refresherâŠ
âSay, Chizuru-chan,â said a voice. âDo you have a moment?â
Startled, Chizuru jerked her head up from her stitching to find Nagakura standing in the open doorway. âOh, Nagakura-san,â she greeted, dipping her head in something of a bow. Not too long ago, she would have thrown her sewing aside and scrambled to her feet, but sheâs learned by now that most of the captains prefer that she not trouble herself. âCan I help you with anything?â
âYeah, actually,â said Nagakura, but he seemed so uncertain that Chizuru hesitated rather than make even one more stitch. It was unusual for him to seek her out in the first place. âThereâs something⊠I have to tell you.â
Chizuru bit her lip. This sounded serious. âDo you want to come in?â
But as soon as she made the offer, Nagakura shook his head wildly, holding out his hands as if in a gesture of surrender. âNo!â he exclaimed. âNo. No, I think this is close enough. I just thought you should knowâŠâ He cleared his throat, looking away, and Chizuru blinked a few times, increasingly more anxious. Was Nagakura feeling all rightâŠ?
There was a long enough silence that Chizuru went back to her stitching, but no sooner than she did so, than Nagakura spoke again, his voice high-pitched from strain: âYou, uh,â he began, but faltered and coughed, looking away as the color rose inexplicably to his face, and his voice became a barely intelligible mumble. âYou know youâre⊠really c-cute, right?â
Chizuruâs brain froze, but her body kept moving, and the needle stabbed into her finger. She let out a small cry of surprise and pain, dropping her sewing and sticking her finger in her mouth to keep from getting blood on the fabric. Cute? There was no way she hadnât misheard himâŠ
âOy, Shinpachi, have you seenâŠâ began Haradaâs voice, and Chizuru glanced up to find that he had appeared beside the horrorstruck Nagakura. Though he wore a confused frown at first, it quickly shifted into an expression of alarm, and he breezed through the door to kneel next to Chizuru.
âWhatâs going on here?â asked Harada, looking between the two of them. âAre you all right, Chizuru?â His tone was one of gentle concern, and she nodded, but tensed as Harada rested his hand on her shoulder. She wasnât used to this kind of proximity. âIs this bastard harassing you?â
She shook her head, feeling the wound close, and removed her finger tentatively from her mouth. However, she did not get the chance to respond. âWh-why would you think that?!â exclaimed Nagakura, reddening again. âI just stopped by to say hi, thatâs all! Right, Chizuru?â
Chizuru hesitated, but nodded. So sheâd misheard him after all. âThereâs a reason youâre not in the Watch, Shinpachi,â said Harada, shaking his head with a short sigh. âYou canât tell a lie to save your life.â He focused on Chizuruâs face more intently. âYou know you can talk to me, Chizuru. Did this idiot tell you something stupid?â
âYouâre putting her on the spot,â protested Nagakura, shifting in place. âCome on, Sano, I just remembered I have toââ
âOh, Iâm putting her on the spot?â demanded Harada. âWhose fault is that?â
âPlease donât fight!â exclaimed Chizuru, and both their eyes snapped to her. She swallowed under their scrutiny, fidgeting with her hands. âItâs all a big misunderstanding. I⊠I think I just misheard something, thatâs all, andâŠâ Harada frowned more deeply as she trailed off, but then something seemed to click.
Raising his eyebrows, he looked Nagakura up and down, wearing a peculiar expression, somewhere between exasperation, amusement, and⊠respect? âYou actually did it,â said Harada, amber eyes dancing, and Shinpachi crossed and uncrossed his arms uncomfortably. âColor me impressed. I didnât think you had it in you.â
Nagakura chuckled nervously, ruffling his hair. âI have no idea what youâre talking about.â
Letting out a short breath, half a laugh, Harada patted Chizuru on the shoulder and rose. âDonât worry about it, Chizuru,â he said, walking back to Nagakuraâs side. âHe was going on about how adorable you were the other night, so I told him he should man up and tell you so.â Harada grinned. âI didnât think heâd take my words to heart.â
âOh, I was going on,â growled Nagakura, elbowing Harada in a way that could have been friendlier. âI wasnât the only one, Sano. You were the one who brought up Chizuru-chan in the first place. âOh, what a tragedy she canât dress like a girlâ!â
Chizuru could have fainted as Haradaâs smile became slightly lopsided. âYeah, I guess you have a point.â
âItâs no fun if you just admit it,â muttered Nagakura, slightly deflated.
âBut it is a tragedy, isnât it?â asked Harada, almost interrupting. âChizuruâs already cute just dressed like a boy. Put her in a proper kimono, and it might be enough to bring the entire Shinsengumi to its knââ
âHey, hey, youâre scaring her, Sano,â cut in Nagakura, and Chizuru realized she had been staring at them. Dropping her gaze to her sewing, Chizuru tried with all her might to focus on her stitchery, but her head felt too light to concentrate, her heart pounded faster and faster, and her cheeks burned.
âRight,â said Harada, massaging the back of his neck sheepishly. âGot carried away.â There was an awkward silence, but Harada didnât let it go on for long. âMaybe weâd better leave it there, then,â he said, wavering in place. âSorry for interruptingâŠâ
Chizuru cleared her throat faintly. âD-donât worry about it,â she managed. âThanks for stopping by?â Her voice sounded uncertain to her own ears, but she felt she had to thank them for their visit. After all, they didnât have to go out of their way to pay her so many compliments.
âW-well, see you around, Chizuru-chan,â said Nagakura, giving an awkward wave. âIt was nice chatting with you!â As he and Harada turned away, the latter offered no goodbye save a soft and sincere smile, and the warmth in Chizuruâs cheeks lingered long after they left.
Having been crossdressing for so long, it meant more than it should to realize that some of the captains still remembered she was a girl. Even if theyâd just been saying it to make her feel better, theyâd definitely succeeded.
