"I am going to attempt retrieval."
Of your body parts? Because I think that might be a good idea.
I'm still staring at her body trying to parse it all out, but at least the butt's in focus. That's the important part!
It's like her butt was the first thing that was drawn and then everything else was drawn around it.
(Panel from Cybernary #3 (1996), Image Comics)
From the same series that this infamous panel is from, Psylocke is in a pose almost as weird as the one in the panel (which is actually from issue #1), and I think all her limbs are detaching from her body and butt (which is clearly the more important part to focus on).
On the "bright side" I guess Angel is also showing his butt off, so... equality(?)
(Cover of Psylocke & Archangel: Crimson Dawn #2 (1997), Marvel Comics)
"Who she is" is I guess Cybernary. "What she is" is I think a collection of body parts piled near each other.
(Panel from Cybernary #1 (1995), Image Comics, submitted by anonymous)
This Psylocke at least isn't in a boobs and butt pose, but she is trying her best to do an ostrich impression... and I think her left arm has come off.
And she's trying to shove her foot literally up her butt.
(Trading Card variant cover of Psylocke: Ninja #1 (2026), Marvel Comics, submitted by anonymous)
I guess Peter got bitten by a radioactive spider, and his sister got bitten by a radioactive snake. >_>
Also it looks like her left arm is coming out of either her back or her right shoulder, like she has multiple arms on one side like Goro from Mortal Kombat. xD
(Panel from Spider-Man and Wolverine vol. 1 #5 (2025), Marvel Comics)
Psilence (the girl on our left)'s left leg looks like it's coming out of her crotch, and I don't know what is going on with Riptide's torso, it's clear the only thing that mattered when sketching the panels were their butts.
But also, moving Psilence's telepathic "speech" bubble all the way across the panel just so it can censor out what would otherwise be Riptide's cameltoe is very very very funny, and honestly makes the entire existence of Youngblood as a franchise worth it.
(Panel from Team Youngblood #18, Image Comics)
I know Hari Kari's been on this blog before, but I still can't believe there exists a "We have Shi at home".
(Panel from Bad Girls of Blackout Annual #1 (1995), Blackout Comics)
Narration text box for screenreaders:
"Through her powers of concentration and meditation, the spirit of master Ryu is summoned and brought forth to challenge and sharpen Kari's fighting skills."
