Hello darling, could I request yan!Vox and an overlord!reader who he views as an older parent figure who he’s trying to impress? I just think it’d be cute
- 💎🪡
TRIGGER WARNING FOR DEATH, CHILD ABANDONMENT, MURDER, EXECUTION, AND VOX BEING REALLY DESPERATE FOR PARENTAL LOVE!
Spoilers for Season 2 and Vox lore!
Well, thank you for the request, 💎🪡. I always love writing desperate yanderes, who are also platonic and I can see why you think it's cute.
^ when some dares talk to his parent.
You're an old overlord. Potentially older than Zestial, but no one in Hell other than you and him know for sure
You do, however, remember parts of your life. You were an outcast, left alone
You never minded until you got lonely, so you started being a parent to lonely, the abused, the neglected, child or not you were there for others in a way only a parent could be
You never hurt anyone, at least you didn't use to
It started with a pair of siblings, a boy and a girl
They were wandering the woods, starved. You nursed them back to health and they told their story, left to starve by their parents
That pushed you, so you killed those awful people, then two kills became four, then eight, then so many there were more children than adults
Someone told officials and you were brought before a trial
Your reasoning didn't sway the judge, in fact you looked more deranged, the people thought you were a monster who didn't help those children, but lured them for food
Those rumors then became that you were practicing dark magic and using the children as ingredients in potions and food
So you were burned as a witch and arrived in Hell
But that wasn't the end, you rose through the ranks for centuries and became one of the most powerful overlords
However, your parental love never faded, so every soul owned by you is treated more like your child
When Vox first met you he almost sold his soul to you
Your parental aura moved him deeply, but he still had the ambition of being an overlord so he didn't
You moved on, thinking you wouldn't really have an impact on him but you did.
Vox couldn't forget how you just let him talk and be open without judgment or ridicule
He is a obsessive, protective, self sacrificing, and delusional platonic yandere
He really looks up to you, your power, and how you earned it all alone
He gives you things all the time on speical occasions and just because he wants to
Loves to talk to you about these new ideas he has
When he's imagining ruling Heaven, he imagines setting you up with a luxurious palace where you can relax and be waited on hand and foot
Lets you touch him, like hold his hand, hug him, whatever, he just wants you to touch him
If you remember any of his ideas or anything about him he'll probably die again from the sheer overload of joy
During the exterminations he gets so scared that you'll die that he can't sleep, or function
Has deluded himself into thinking he's your favorite "child", even though the ones you call your children are the souls you own, and he isn't one of them
Has also deluded himself into thinking you're like, some granny who should've retired years ago but is too stubborn to so it's his job to make you relax
When he started the Vees, he never forgot about you
Has no problems with ditching Val and Velvette if you need him
Tries to keep them away from you all the time
If you didn't know about sharks before, now you do thanks to him
Has literally blocks in his schedule where he's free just so he can spend time with you
Has tea with you
Will do whatever you ask of him
You could tell him to bring you God's head and he would
Remembers every since thing about you
Will chase away anyone who tries to be around you
When you scold him he acts like a kicked puppy
I run with the head canon he has issues with his parents, so he tries to get all the love he lacked from you
Calls you by your name in public but in private he'll call you "Boss"
If he met you in life he'd make a whole TV program defending you, so he does it in Hell
Seriously, the TVs of Hell once had a whole miniseries called "History's Most Misunderstood Witch" which is all about you, but under a false name because he doesn't want to be labeled as obsessed
When he has Alastor prisoner, he takes so many pictures to brag to you
Just loves to tell you about all his accomplishments
When you do finally meet Valentino and Velvette he'd be so petty and bitter about it
If you like Valentino and Velvette better than him, he pouts and get jealous
When his plan fails he doesn't want to see you
Once he becomes an IPad he's ashamed to face you, because he thinks you'll be mad
If you still care for him after all that, he'll cry into your chest
That moment of still loving him after failing makes him more yandere
So, until he gets a new body he'll be asking Ethan to prop him up so he can talk to you
Shows you all the newest technology before the public gets them, because you deserve the best
When you ever visit V Tower his staff are on edge because he gets more strict
During your visits he makes everything seem perfect, greeting you himself and going through all the motions
Is a petty, jealous bastard
Somehow acts more childish when you're around
Has to really try not to force you into retirement
Keeps mementos from your visits
If he learned about you during his life he would be enraged at how history portrayed you if they got it wrong
Will murder anyone who calls you "witch"
Has no problem lying to you about how you're portrayed in history if it's in a negative light
If history puts you in a positive light, then he tells you everything
Sees you as a wise, older figure burdened by the younger generation
So, by proxy he sees it as his job to give you the best retirement ever
What if someone tried to get Rudo out of the chains that threw him into the pit?
What if instead of just standing there and judging him like the rest they jumped after him because if that boy who was sweet enough to fix broken things and respect people's items was going down there, so we're you.
You had known Rudo since his dad was dropped into the pit himself. Being a support to Regto in making sure he was taken care of.
You'd not lived with them but you were close by just in case so when you heard the commotion on your way home and saw enforcers dragging an unconscious body away from Regtos home you couldn't help but take a peak at what was going on.
Seeing regto lifeless and realizing it was Rudo being dragged away you ran. You chased them down to the pit and we're screaming to let him go.
You knew that boy better than anyone else and knew he'd never hurt his adoptive father even if he could.
Others attempted to hold you back as that bastard priest droned on about how he was filth and needed to be sent to the pit for his crimes. Just before he'd finished his speech you'd broken free of your neighbors and ran to the boy and as soon as he was dropped you followed him.
You dove after him panicked, you didn't think either of you would survive a fall into the pit but hell you weren't about to let him experience that pain on his own and you sure in the hell weren't gonna be chummy with those back stabbing bastards back there.
Tears in your eyes as you reached for him, finally grabbing him and holding him close as you both plummeted.
Eyes open to face your deaths head-on, you see as you fall past the cloudline a larger figure staring back.
Making eye contact scrambles something in your brain and slowly you fade into unconsciousness.
Waking up you felt like you'd gotten hit by a truck and the smell around you was absolutely vile.
Maybe this was punishment for not saving the boy but you'd take whatever flew at you. Well maybe it'd be easier if you weren't currently tossing chunks at the moment.
You could hear something moving nearby and opened your eyes to see Rudo rolling over surrounded by piles of trash and covered in dirt.
You coughed, the smell feeling even more intrusive than before, getting up and moving over to the small boy. He'd woken up but was also taking in his surroundings.
Once he noticed you his eyes widened and all he could croak out was a simple why.
"I know you'd never do what I saw Rudo. If we can figure a way out we'll find out what really happened okay?"
You could see the tears forming along his lash line before anger and determination set his brows.
Nodding.
But then those freaky fucking trash giants show up.
Why the hell do the gods have to do y'all like this?!
Pt. 2
Lemme know if y'all would want more of this shit.
I'm deciding on whether or not to make em a giver or give them more of a support role.
Definitely gonna be giving big sibling/ parental vibes.
Idk if I'll do any x characters or anything like that but maybe.
Lemme know what y'all think 🤔 or if you have suggestions.
If I make em a giver I'm thinking a chain necklace that was gifted to them by regto, a stamp that Rudo made em, or some other personal affects that they've had since they were young like a bronze hourglass they use as a timer for their job back on the sphere.
If they're in support it'd probably be more like Alice in the clinic or working with August working on clothes or tech for the members.

The Luofu always had a certain hum to it, like the vessel itself breathed in quiet serenity. Golden rays filtered through the grand windows of the Arbiter-General’s residence, catching dust motes in their dance. You stood near the study's arched entrance, half-smiling as the faint melody of birdsong mingled with the rustling of scrolls.
Yanqing sat cross-legged on the floor, hunched over a training manual, face scrunched in deep concentration. His eyes darted across each line with practiced intensity.
You cleared your throat gently.
“Page forty-three is misnumbered. That’s why the footwork looks off.”
He blinked at you, almost startled. “...Oh. I knew that.”
“Of course you did,” you replied with a small laugh, kneeling beside him. “Want help figuring it out?”
There was a beat of silence before he murmured, “I guess.” He shifted to make room, subtle but significant.
From his seat at the far corner, Jing Yuan watched.
Lounging—seemingly asleep—on the wide couch, a book rested on his chest and one hand dangled lazily over the side. But his sharp golden gaze peeked through half-lidded eyes, hidden by the veil of slumber. Watching the two most important people in his life slowly bridge the quiet distance between them.
You pointed something out with a gentle tap of your finger to the page. “Try visualizing it like this—when your opponent strikes here, your step needs to pull them into your rhythm, not just defend.”
Yanqing nodded, eyes lighting up with understanding. “Like sword-dancing instead of brute force... that’s what General always says.”
“You’ve been listening to his rambling after all,” you teased.
“I don’t call it rambling,” Yanqing mumbled defensively, but the smile tugging at his lips betrayed him.
Jing Yuan chuckled quietly, his voice low and warm. “I see my teachings aren’t going to waste after all.”
Both your heads turned.
“Were you pretending to sleep again?” you asked.
Jing Yuan stretched languidly like a lion in the sun. “Only partially. You two have a nice rhythm. I didn't want to interrupt.”
Yanqing looked between you and him, an unfamiliar emotion stirring in his chest. Belonging, maybe. Not the kind granted through duty or rank, but something softer. Unspoken. Family.
“Can we try that move outside later?” he asked, glancing up at you.
“Of course. Just try not to knock me off my feet.”
“You’re the one who’ll need balance,” he said with a smirk. Then, a rare thing—he added, “Thanks… for helping.”
You smiled gently. “Always.”
Jing Yuan stood and crossed the room, placing a hand on Yanqing’s head. The boy rolled his eyes but didn’t pull away. “You’re adjusting faster than I did at your age,” he said, voice fond. “Must be good influence.”
He looked at you when he said it, something in his gaze lingering—gratitude, love, quiet awe.
The three of you, cast in gold and quiet understanding, stood in the rare stillness between duty and peace. Jing Yuan might be the Divine Foresight, the Dozing General, but even he couldn’t predict how quickly the heart could bloom in the warmth of shared days and small beginnings.
And perhaps that was the most divine foresight of all: to choose a life where peace began at home.
Why, why, why, why? Why do I get sent to the world of Gachiakuta and see the glorious beauty of the Cleaners, only to not understand them!
I slammed my head down on the table, groaning in agnoy as Enjin continued to talk above my head. Except, while his voice was buttery smooth and lovely to listen to, it all just sounded like gibberish to me.
Shifting my head to the side, I peaked up from the cafeteria table to peer up at the hunk. His thick jacket a barrier between me and the other Cleaners as he talked about something. A wave of Umbreaker back at me the only sign he was talking about me specifically. Golden eyes peering back to shoot my a wink before turning back to the gathered crowd.
Said crowd filled with even more beautiful characters I wished to hold and then pose for my art book. The beatup thing stashed in my canvas bag, both of which had travelled to the world with me somehow, and treasures I had literally beaten up Zanka for to keep.
Because yeah, of course they found me in No Man's Land and tried to bring me back. But not without almost shaking me down. The blue weirdo who should have been more green being way to eager to sntach away my belongings for one reason or another.
I had swung first, the minute one of his fingers inched too close, and it landed right between his eyes. A bloody nose followed as he fell back, and I had dove for his stick, sntaching up and making a break for it.
Hahaha, can't do shit without your vital instrument!
A thought that had quickly been proven wrong when he jumped me like a feral beast. The tussel after a mess of blood flying and hair grabbing. Until, of course, Enjin had to intervene literally picking my up by the back of my hoodie where I dangled like a fool.
It was then that I realized I couldn't understand shit. Enjin leaning in with a proud smirk as he spoke, and I, the fool, reached up to touch his cheek and try and pull a smoldering smile of my own.
"Boo, what the fuck did you just say?"
Cue language barrier.
A quick ride back to HQ, after almost biting off Zanka's finger as he pointed at me with a glare, and I had been dumbed before the crowd like I was in court and they were deciding the verdict.
Riyo's laugh had me lifting my head, peeking around Enjin to she the redhead poking Zanka while cackling. The former blushing and ducking his head, hand tight around Assistaff. Blood was still dribbling down his nose and your hand itched to capture it on paper for further blackmail in the future.
What actually made me pull out the art book was who walked through the door. Long lashes fluttering as they kissed their cheeks in a blink, golden eyes taking in the room in a quick sweep before landing back on me. The messy bun of hair too large to hold, escaping in wisps that fanned out like wings. Even more hair tied up and wrapping around their neck like a scarf, and the loose clothes hiding movement and shape behind feather cloth.
Tamsy smiled and I ducked down to begin.
Delmon's voice followed, loud and booming just like the anime. And I had a wild guess he was asking what was up as I continued to take quick peeks at the angel before me. I focused on the eyes mostly as they drew closer to the table.
Enjin leaned in, oohing and aahing over my shoulder.
I leaned forward, trying my best to shield my work with my frame.
It did little to stop the nosy Cleaner from snatching it away right below my elbow. I withered on the spot, slamming my head back on the table, knowing the humiliation he was going to present my work and laugh about it. And then the other would join in, probably point out all the flaws in the unfinished work, make fun of the style and who knows what else.
Ah, my life is over. Just end me now.
The laughter did come, coughing and wheezing from the thief. Hidden snorts behind hands from others. Not that I was going to lift my head from my new life becoming one with the table.
Except one voice did cut through, light, airy, pleasing to the ear, and by the tone they were scolding too. A hand landed squarely on my back, the voice leaning closer and taking on a praising tilt.
I looked up, meeting Tamsy's gaze, his smile wide. He looked over to Enjin again, and I followed like a puppy trying to see more of that pretty smile.
The blonde was looking more upset now, notebook lowered and frowning as he scratched at his chin. A apology probably slipping pass as he handed the notebook back. I snatched it away, arms chained around it like the precious cargo it was.
Enjin grinned then, taking a seat across from me, I couldn't help my frown deepening at this, before he rose up his thumb and finger below his chin and grinned. more words spoken and then he looked to the ceiling while drawling Umbreaker closer.
Was….was this man posing?
I need to draw this once in a lifetime opportunity. Letting loose a screech that had some moving away, I flipped to a fresh page and began to work. All my favorite characters in a room motivation enough to need to draw.
Take that Art Block!
If this is a dream I never wanna wake up.
And of course that's just what had to happen. While I was still drawing too. Again the door opened, this time in walking Semiu and Corvus, who you know, runs the place and decides who gets to stay or get kicked out.
While I had already met Semiu when I arrived at HQ, having to pass the vibe check and all that to even go further into the building, Corvus was another matter. The eluvise leader of the Cleaners, who's Jinki wasn't even known and you couldn't even ask about, who was now in the canteen staring me down.
A power didn't radiate from him at all, which made his power he did have even more impressive. The cafeteria quieted as he strolled forward with Semiu at his side. Both paused before my table, the leader zeroing in on me with a kind smile.
He spoke directly at me, pausing as he tilted his head. I followed the motion,
"I would love to know what you said, babes."
Corvus nodded like he actually did understand what I just said. He looked to Enjin, then Tamsy at my side still, speaking again before looking back to me and nodding.
That seemed to be all it took to become a member of the Cleaners. With Enjin turning to me with a big grin and a pat on the head…..I got a pat on the head from him….
If you’re open to it, could I request some headcanons about Capsaicin cookie with a reader who acts like a mother to him?
Of course! This is my first Parental Figure reader :D
Capsaicin Cookie and Fem Parental Reader Headcannons
Warnings: a bit of angst, nothing too bad, I headcannon him to be indirectly related to Burning Spice Cookie, you're a single parent, I hope this is what you wanted!
Capsaicin tends to crave affection, he's a very "seems scary on the outside" character, especially with his power outburst when he was younger.
To add to the above, he loves to show off any new thing he can do with his powers. Occasionally, he'll get worried that he might lose control, but he's been easier on himself since the Triple Cone Cup.
He tends to try and cook things with you, though he may make things a little too peppery.
Before the TCC, he was worried about too much physical contact with you, worried about harming you.
But, after working through his fears, he leans more into physical contact, even initiating it!
He's quite protective of you, what with being the only parent.
As a child, he was quite the havoc-wrecker, whether it be getting into cabinets he shouldn't be, or "what's in your mouth? SPIT IT OUT! YOU CAN'T EAT SOLID FOODS!"
One of the first things he does when he makes a new friend (after making sure they're safe, of course) is show them to you. "Look at my new friend! :D" "That's nice dear, but please put Prune Juice Cookie down he's shaking" "Alright!"
"Man, my mom would love this!" (Just about 75% chance of being right)
He's definitely a mama's boy, not wanting to leave your side for anything!
His relation to Burning Spice Cookie doesn't help his self doubt/loathing, but you and his friends being there for him lifts the sting a bit.
Hi can I request parental MC with Sabi and Lian where the MC gets banshied and the younger wardens are there to comfort them
I love the young wardens they are too adorable 💖💖💖
Reader is called ‘mom’ but is referred to with GN pronouns.

The news of your banishment got around fast. Both clans in disbelief that the village would banish you in the blink of an eye.
Stunned at how quickly the village turned its back on you, and left you. Threatening them if they helped.
Luckily Volo, Irida, Adaman, and a nice lady named Cogita came up with a plan to help you. Giving you a safe, hidden spot to stay in.
You kept yourself for the most part anymore.
You were rarely at the ancient retreat, unless it was for your next orders. You barely even slept there, always out and about.
It doesn’t help that the clan leaders are growing tired, more hurt the longer you stay banished.
Sabi won’t stop pestering Adaman for your whereabouts, she knows what he said, though she doesn’t fully grasp it.
She just wants to see you again, she misses you.
Irida is in the same boat, Lian begs and pleads to know where you are.
He hasn’t seen you since you came to ask him for Irida, he cried and cried into your stomach, apologizing he couldn’t help.
Are you mad at him?
It broke Irida’s heart that he thinks you’re angry with him.
The two leaders came up with a plan.
“You two cannot know where this place is, but we will take you to it.”
“Is ma there?”
The two kids light up, hoping for the answer.
“Yes, the hero is there, but we can’t let anyone else know of this place.” Irida says, but Adaman continues.
“The lady that lives there has given permission for you two to visit, just this once, and you must behave.”
“Yes sir!”
The kids made sure to keep their eyes covered, while the clan leaders carried them to the ancient retreat.
They hold still and until they can hear your voice, you sound so tired, but it’s you!
“H-hey hold still!” Adaman says, carrying to kids isn’t easy!
But Sabi breaks free first, dropping to the ground and running towards you.
“Mom! Mom!”
You stare in shock before snapping out of it, instantly crouching down to hug the green haired girl.
“Sabi! What on Earth are you doing here?”
You hold her close, almost afraid she’ll disappear if you let her go.
You hear another thud, looking up to see an exasperated Adaman, and a running Lian.
“Ma!”
“Lian!” You move Sabi to one arm, making room for the small cowboy.
You are quickly slammed into, holding two crying children. You can’t understand everything they are saying, but you are getting it’s about them missing you.
You just hold them, keeping them as close as possible. You close your eyes, trying to fight back tears, wanting to be strong for your kids.
“Shh I’m here, it’s okay, I got you.”
They have a death grip on your kimono, not wanting to part from you.
You pick them up, and sit on the ground with them in your lap.
Cogita says they can stay until nightfall.
And that’s exactly what they do.
You three stay in the ancient retreat, playing tag, trainer, making dinner, and them sitting in awe at your new stories.
And you laughing at theirs.
How Gaeric slipped on ice and landed after doing three summersaults, only to take a snowball to the face.
Or how Lian tried making matching hats for his Pokémon and noble, and it going as well as you’d think.
You three laugh until the sun starts setting.
They happily eat away at their dinner.
And you feel so refreshed, the heaviness in your heart being lifted.
Maybe after all this is over, your get a place near them to visit more.
When the stars start shining the two inch closer to you, gripping your sleeves.
“Mom….do we have to go?”
Your expression softens at Sabi’s weak voice.
“Yeah, we promise to behave! Honest!”
Lian’s grip grows tighter.
“I’m sorry, it is not my place as Cogita has made it clear. But tell you what.”
They peek up as you wrap your arms around them.
“I’ll finish this up as fast as I can, and after it’s all over, I’ll teach you two how to craft things for you and your Pokémon. Deal?”
“Can we sleep over at your home too?”
You want to laugh at how in sync they can be. You smile warmly at your kids.
“Of course! And I’ll make you two your favorite.”
They cheer, hugging you once more. You kiss the tops of their heads, smiling down at the two faces beaming up at you.
“I love you mom, please stay safe.”
“Love you ma! Take care…please.”
You chuckle, your children are too sweet.
“I love you both, so much. I’ll be home before you know it.”
The slowly walk to their leaders, ready to go home.
You watched until they were out of sight.
“My, hero. You have quite the handful.”
You laugh at Cogita’s words.
“Yeah, but-“
“Your handful?”
“Haha! Yeah exactly!”
You love your children, and you will do whatever it takes to keep them safe.
