World Building (Magic)

Humans and monsters both have magic in their soul, the difference is most humans cannot use the magic that they have while monster can use them quite easily

Humans have a lot more magic in them compared to monsters, but it is very much useless as most humans cannot use magic and will never use them, they are basically a useless walking magic battery.

Monsters on the other hand, have a lot less magic in them, their magic is less powerful than that of humans, but monsters can actually use their magic! magic to monsters is just another way of life

Mages

There are some humans that are lucky enough to be born able to use their magic, they are called mages. Even then..unlike monsters who can use their magic as easily as blinking, mages need to learn and hone their magic for years to have them be able to do anything actually useful, but there are some who push themselves hard enough to be able to stand one on one with monsters in magic usage.

Magical objects

With how hard it is for mages to harness their magic on their own, they use magical objects to help them (magical staff, wands, etc), those items will be imbued with magic and will act as a bridge that connects the magic from inside the mages souls to the world around them. It is very rare but there are some who are able to harness their magic without the help of these magical items, those are mages that either have trained all their life or those that use other means..

The indomitable human spirit

There is an exception to humans lacking magical abilities....as there is one spell that EVERY human can use when they are at the edges of death. It is this so-called "indomitable human spirit", this spell will push humans to their full limits and to keep going even beyond that limit, humans will call the power within them to do things beyond the imaginable, when a human have used this spell, it is best for any monster near them to run...just in case all those magic within them flared beyond control, or if the human themself goes beyond control.

Random World Buliding Headcanons: Beauty/Hygiene/Cleaning Products edition.

Humans can’t use a lot of Devildom products. Shampoo, soap, body wash, toothpaste, and even some household cleaning products that are normal for demons can be really dangerous to humans.

Asmo wanted to see about dying MC’s hair once but then found out that Devildom hair dye would actually make their hair fall out and possibly give them chemical burns.

MC is not allowed to use any cleaning products because the brothers are still not sure which products could kill their human house mate.

Surprisingly, lotion and perfume is actually originally human made so even Devildom lotion and perfume is safe for humans.

MC and Solomon have to have special human products ordered while in the Devildom.

Solomon sometimes just borrows stuff from Simeon.

Angel products are generally safe for humans. They can be a bit stronger though so humans have to use less.

You can tell when Solomon borrowed Simeon’s shampoo because he smells like sunshine and holy water.

Asmo will spray Solomon with perfume when he does smell like this.

Angels can use Demon products without harm, but it can leave them feeling a bit uncomfortable.

Depends on if the dog is quiet at night or not. Because if it's loud, it won't get to grow very old. Your cousin with 8 adopted children is clearly so on edge that she's boiling Froot Loops. UNLESS that ISN'T a typo and your cousin is boiling fruit cut into rings/spirals. (a possible step in making homemade applesauce, juice concentrate, or preserves) By this logic, the dogs age could depend on how old the neighbors are (young couple that's new in town or older senior couple that your cousin invites over for Holiday dinners. They also make sweaters for the kids each Christmas) Young couple dog = puppy to maybe 3 years Older couple dog = most likely 6+ years OR!!! Your cousin is boiling "Fruit Loops" (aka the official brand name from 1959) Which means you have more concerning matters than how old the neighbors dog is. ... Also you need to clear out the pantry.
