He had been watching the castle for the last few days, trying to figure out what the best way inside would be. There were a few different ideas that came to mind when it involved making his way into the building but none really guaranteed successful, which was the biggest problem. Once he was caught breaking in they’d be more on edge and he’d have a harder time making his way inside to get at the king of this castle. Idly he ran through a few different scenarios mentally and just sighed before throwing his pack over his shoulder and going to walk back out towards the path that lead towards the pathway that lead into the castle. He was going to go with one of the most risky ideas, but at least it would be the most likely to get him inside without drawing the attention of every grunt on the premises.
When he approached the duo of grunts that were assigned to guard the doors, he offered a smile and asked if he could speak to lord of the estate, and when asked why his smile didn’t fade as he calmly explained that he was an engineer who was designing a new pokeball, one that would allow them to catch a pokemon that was already caught. This was of course a lie, but he did have plans for a pokeball in his bag if he was asked to prove it. He watched the grunts looked at each other before discussing who should take him inside and possibly face their kings wrath. Once one of them managed to convince the other to walk into the lions den, Ryver was asked to show them the research.
Given the reputation their king had for his anger, he wasn’t surprised by the request. They didn’t want to risk going in and simply bringing in a lying fool. So Ryver pulled out the file with his research notes and showed them to the others. The notes weren’t legible, but from bad hand writing rather simply just it being in a different language and coded on top of that. The grunt seemed satisfied with what they were shown however and Ryver was lead inside. A grin was on the brunets face as he followed the other into the castle, he was slowly reaching his goal and hopefully it would end with someone’s blood on his hands. He knew the king of this castle deserved to die, and there wouldn’t be many who would mourn his death, if there were any he was sure he could handle it.
The walk through the hallways was a silent one, dull brown eyes watched the walls with a bored interest as he was lead to a large set of doors, a study was his guess, before he was told to wait so they could see if their King was free at the moment. Ryver just grinned before going to grab them and put them into a choke-hold to ease them into unconsciousness through lack of air, and once they were knocked out he laid them down onto the ground before going to push open the big doors.
Even if his target wasn’t in there now, Ryver was more then willing to sit and wait for him to arrive.
