What if vampire cambion?
During his research for Astarion, Raphael finds out about the arranged marriage clause his father built into the profane ascension
He gets Haarlep to turn him into a greater vampire so he can usurp the ritual, and not be forced into an arranged marriage
But what happens if a devil — who normally just returns to hell if they die outside it — dies via vampiric turning outside Hell? Can his corpse stay behind in the Material, reviving as a vampire, while normal Raphael instantly appears, alive, unvampiric, in Hell?
Vampire Raphael doesn't know there's another copy of him, assumes it worked as expected, and goes through with the ritual — only to find himself magically bound in an arranged marriage to... himself
He is... definitely not upset about this development 😏
