Yo again!
Kat here back with more character arts!
So this is another main protagonist throughout the story, his name is Tobi and he’s a “tough guy.” He enjoys MMA and, ah… street-fighting, but is also subjected to some serious character development as time goes on *wink* so don’t go making too many assumptions!
That’s about all for now so as usual PLEASE don’t repost without asking first! thanks y’all!

Heya
Sorry for the inactivity, school has been kicking my butt recently (RIP) but I’m trying very hard to do some arts when i can. So anywho here’s a smol bio page for our main character Hitomi! I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to reveal about her but as you can see she has animal ears (cat? dog? fox? tbh I don’t really know) and I will say it is the result of a genetic experiment and other sciency stuff.
DO NOT REPOST WITHOUT PERMISSION!
Well I think that’s all i have to say about this so uhh…
-Kat out!-
Alright, so after discussing this for a little while via text with Kat, I think we’re going to take more of a ‘graphic novel’ approach.
While this may not seem like big news to Kat, I find that decision extremely important. As the writer (with input from Kat, obviously), it stresses me out trying to develop a strong storyline knowing that I have very limited space to do so, because it’s not fair to ask my amigo to have thirty-five to forty pages drawn and colored, with proper paneling and dialogue text within a short time span. And based on the fact that a typical single comic book is like ten pages long, we realized that what we have doesn’t fit under that category.
So, to sum it all up, we’re not changing anything about the actual content. In fact, taking this new approach allows us more flexibility to add more to our story.
Also, I’d like to thank the little group of supporters we have so far. It’s way too early for us to start building any kind of following at this stage-but I promise we are looking at more social media networking, in the form of Kickstarter, Instagram, maybe Twitter, to build off of what we have so far.
Additionally, if anyone is running an operation similar to ours we’d definitely check out your blog or talk via messaging. As always, contact information down below.

Update #2
WE ARE STILL ALIVE! I PROMISE!
I’m making this post without informing Kat first (#rebel) just to tell anyone who follows/sees this blog that
We are alive and well
We are still working on this comic
We’ll try to have the first issue done by May
I’m going to force Kat to post some art sometime soon
We recently wrapped up midterms and we’re back in school, so y’all are gonna have to cut us a little bit of slack on occasion
I swear I’ll post some kind of bio or preview, something of that sort
We still don’t know what to do as far as getting copies out.
I’d say the first issue is about 65% done so there will be posts about that in the near future
I’ll also force Kat to make the color scheme more gender-neutral I swear
As of now we’re still not certain of anything regarding the comic, with the exception of the general story. This is still a work in progress, there’s no telling when it will be done or if we’ll ever have any real following. HOWEVER, since we’re not so far along in this process we’re totally open to suggestion (insert jazz hands here) . So do us a favor and put some questions under our ‘ask’ tab OR pm/email us @
We’re still considering different ways to publish; considering web layout, printed physical copies, Amazon ebook, etc. If anyone has suggestions as far as publishing (even though it’s too early to be certain of anything), do the same and drop us a message, question, or email. I happen to be on tumblr quite frequently myself (Kat doesn’t have her own blog), so if it’s been a while and you haven’t gotten an answer feel free to send me a message on my personal blog, http://firearmsandflowers.tumblr.com
Alright, thanks to everyone reading!

Raritas Juniper Junippes Gin!
Back with another update!
I know I haven't posted in a long time....so long I can’t quite remember which month it was, but I know it’s been too long. So I’m back, just to confirm that, no, we’re not totally dead, we’ve just been busy so we’ve been on a kind of mini-hiatus but we’re back now! So far I can confirm that we have three drafts done and almost ready to go, unfortunately we aren’t releasing anything until the whole set is complete, so it may still be a while. I know we’ve drastically strayed away from our original release date, but I’d rather we take our time and be satisfied with the finished product than rush it pointlessly.
Anyways, that’s all for now, thanks guys!

Hey guys!
Once again, it’s me, Avery. I think I just post so much compared to Kat because I'm on the computer way too often for it to be healthy, lol whoops. That, and doing the art thing takes a lot of time and effort, so it takes longer to post that kind of stuff.
Anyways, the (unofficial) monthly update:
I HAVE FINISHED SOME MANUSCRIPTS. They’re still in the final editing stage and *flaps hands around* all that jazz. But, I’m super excited to see them illustrated and colored and----ugh I am so excited.
Oh, and that reminds me-
I’ve gotten a few questions regarding the illustration style of the finished project. And, I should probably let everyone know: from what Kat has told me, everything so far is just concept. I guess we haven’t sorted every little detail out just yet, but hey, that’s what these updates are for!
So, that’s all I got for today. I’m gonna go be productive-I got some really useful books to use for additional research/reference and I guess that’s what I’ll be doing for the next few hours. As always, thanks to those who keep up with out blog!
