i heard there was events going on and i wanted to give it a go @weeklymagmas!! theme was romance and im not really that into tmnt ships so tried to draw fun stuff i saw around

didnt manage to finish miles morales and mikey however,,

Calling this piece done after abandoning it for a while!! Really happy with it considering most of it was done in my sketchbook. Closeups and more ranting under the cut

I will always, always be heartbroken that their dynamic or relationship in rottmnt never got to be explored. Especially because of the little hints and setup we see in the first two seasons, with how well their characters would compliment each other. Idk I just miss them so much. Raphcass will live on in our hearts.

the og piece is soooo important to me, and for two reasons;

one, from an emotional standpoint, it was like the second painting i made of raph and casey and the one that solidified my obsession (and emotional dependency oops) with them for me

two, from a technical standpoint, i realized how much i enjoyed rendering this way in digital painting, and gave me a result i liked and was interesting to look at (i still use similar techniques today!!!)

so thank you raph and casey for everything you did for me 🙏🙏 forever my goats
