Once in Joburg launch
Fridays the 18th of November, Travellingcheapskates got to chill with the tourism coolest peeps at the official launch of Once in Joburg. The trendy hotel meets hostel property set in the buzzy Braamfontein is an extension of the Once in Cape Town brand. The new spot aims to bring comfort for the urban on the go traveler.
Attendees got a real feel of the hip property offering more than just accommodation. Walking through the different rooms, varying from couple to dorm with classy layout. The first floor was coloured up by local artists who were adding their last strokes onto art pieces set to add individuality for each hotel room, further down the corridor a mobile spa, had set up base for the night. One was treated to snacks and sips from the lobby restaurant; The Immigrant, also open to non hotel guests.
The Brothers moves on band dished a lit set that ushered all into a great weekend. We look forward to revisit this spot for one of our 2017 outings.
