Fairy Tail red heads and their glares. Erza really looks like her mother Irene here.
For @fernstarsblog and @angelathekittydog, enjoy your Hypokits! Fern asked for Raven x Fire and Bramble x Sorrel, and Angela asked for Maple x Reed, with Norwegian forest cat Maple and British Shorthair Reed!
In the first AU, Ravenpaw is mentored by Redtail, and Tigerclaw nearly kills his mentor, but stops, conflicted. Redtail and Ravenpaw talk him down, and the three return to camp. Firepaw and Ravenpaw become fast friends, with Fire sharing that while his Dad is a kittypet, his Father is a Windclan warrior. Ravenpaw admits his father is a Shadowclan warrior. After becoming warriors they begin to date.
Continuing the AU, Tigerclaw becomes a better person with a close support system, leading to him being a great dad to his kits and Swiftpaw. Brambleclaw and Sorreltail become close friends after his father saves her mother from being killed by badgers, and they just click.
In the final AU, Reedshine catches Appledusk and Mapleshade, but only reports her cheater of a bf to her leader, claiming to have not recognized the molly. At the next gathering, the two start talking, eventually leading to trash-talking their ex, and then dating.
Anyway, thanks for the suggestions, and enjoy your characters! I’ll be opening hypokits up more each month!

Dark City Hero AU—Gajevy Pt. 2
Ahhh It’s finally here! I love this Dark City Hero AU so much my life has just been so busy and I wasn’t sure how I wanted to end it but here we are. “What about Gray?!!?” Don’t worry, we’ll be having another DCH AU with Gruvia soon! ;)
This is a completion of Part One which you can read: HERE.
Recap first in italics below.
Then, with the flickering street light casting strange shadows on the little Cathedral in Gajeel’s hand, he remembered something. “Shit, Iron-Teeth, it’s like you think you’re the only one who’s got eyes and ears out on the street. Everyone knows about that lady cop…” Everyone.
“Raven Tail,” Gajeel whispered, shoving the snow globe back into his pocket. If everyone knew than his cover was blown, and Raven Tail—Ivan that fucking bastard—would be after him. No… Levy! Gajeel spun around to face the guild just as the ground shook and an explosion rattled the buildings behind him. Smoke… smoke… It was too late. Gajeel took off in a dash for HQ—where he knew that sound of the explosion had come from. I realized too late… I realized too late…
The sound of screaming sirens echoed in the streets, as Gajeel ran. A crowd was already gathering outside of the station, and the police were keeping them back. “Outta my way! Outta my way!” Gajeel shoved his way through the crowd, practically barreling through the onlookers.
“Sir—” one policeman at the sidelines tried to stop him.
“Fuck you, I’m a detective,” Gajeel barely flashed him his badge before ducking under the tape they were already putting up, and rushing past firetrucks and ambulances, straight towards the building. Levy. His girlfriend—the mother of his child—was in there.
“Gajeel!”
“Captain?!” Gajeel spun around at the sound of the familiar authoritative voice.
“Where the hell do you think you’re going?!” The old man snapped. He was red in the face, his eyes practically bulging out of his head.
“There are others still in the building…Levy…”
“No! Leave this to the firemen. You’re a detective. You’re not invincible—”
There was a shriek from somewhere behind them in the crowd. Natsu and the others pushed their way through. “Gajeel!” The fire-brained idiot gasped, “What did you do?!” Fire! Of course!
“Natsu!” Gajeel grabbed his partner by the collar of his uniform and dragged him up off his feet so they were eye-to-eye.
“Hey!”
“Eat these flames!”
“Watch it, iron-face, you’re not in charge of me—”
“Levy’s still in there! Eat these flames before I smash your skull to dust!”
Natsu’s eyes widened, “Le-levy…? Put me down Gajeel.”
Gajeel set the young man back on his feet, and Natsu took in a deep breath. Gajeel watched with a tiny spark of hope as the flames roiled and twisted, surging towards the pink-haired detective like clouds caught into a tornado, or stars pulled into a black hole. And what remained was a shell of their HQ… broken windows, soot, charcoal. The middle of the structure had been torn to pieces by the bomb… or whatever it had been that had exploded—completely decimating the offices. Gajeel didn’t waist a second, didn’t even hesitate. He was already on his way through the broken front doors, the rest of the force and the firemen were close behind.
“L-Levy! Levy!” The main hall, where all their desks had once stood, was crumbled all the way up two other stories to the roof. Gajeel could see the sky, where dark clouds were beginning to gather. If there had been anyone in this room they were buried under feet of rubble. “L-levy!” Gajeel shouted again, the hope that had been in his heart before, once he had seen Natsu, was fading fast. She’s buried under all this… she’s… she’s….
“G-Ga…” there was a rough cough from one of the adjoining hallways. Gajeel spun around, instantly knowing her voice.
“Levy!” His girlfriend stumbled forward and he barely caught her, pulling her up into his arms, pressing kisses against her cheeks and forehead, breathing in the faint scent of her lavender shampoo. “You’re safe… you’re safe…” They clung to each other for a long moment. Levy was shaking, tears rolling down her cheeks. Then Gajeel pulled away to look her in the eyes. “I should have been here.”
“N-no… Don’t think like that,” Levy smiled, but there were tears still clinging to her eyelashes. “Everything’s fine.”
“Everything’s not fine,” Gajeel growled. Then he paused, brushing strands of hair away from Levy’s eyes. “How… how are you… You don’t even have a scratch.”
Levy’s eyes widened and she pulled away from his embrace. “G-Gray! Gray saved my life!” Levy quickly turned back down the hall. “We have to make sure he’s okay. Oh, I’m such an idiot—”
“Medic!” Gajeel called, before taking his girlfriend’s hand and leading her back down the hall. Gray was there, propped up against a crumbling wall, but in the dark they almost didn’t spot him. He was partially buried under bricks and an old fluorescent ceiling light had fallen down hard onto his chest. But, at his shoulders Gajeel could see that the Detective was still breathing… barely.
“Gray, you bastard…” The ice mage must have come into HQ only moments after Gajeel had left. Leaving Levy where she was, Gajeel quickly went to work pulling the light and the bricks from off of the young man. He was badly bruised. One or two of his ribs were broken, there was no doubt about that. As the footsteps of medics and firemen approached Gajeel leaned over his coworker, and his friend with a shake of his head. “There’s no way I can ever repay you.” He chuckled. “Thank you… thank you…”
The medics and the firemen got to work, gently lifting Gray onto a stretcher. The sound of sirens could still be heard in the distance. Gajeel took a step back and engulfed Levy and their child in his embrace. Raven Tail did this. And they sure as hell weren’t going to get away with it.
“I’m done with undercover work,” Gajeel huffed, lifting Levy up into his arms.
“Why’s that?” Levy murmured, wrapping her arms around his shoulders as he carried her out into the street lights, and the flashing lights of police patrol cars.
“If you think I’m ever leaving you alone again, you’ve got another thing coming, Angel.”
Usually Levy would pout when he said something stupid like that. Usually she’d protest, “I can take care of myself.” And really, he knew that most of the time she could. But tonight she just smiled, tears in her eyes, and rested her forehead against his.
“Good,” she whispered, “I could use the company.”
#Repost! If you aren't following my corvid researcher friend, Kaeli Swift @corvidresearch, you need to! • • • Mondays can be hard. So here’s a raven trying to fulfill its mission to #PullAllTheTails to make your Monday a little brighter. Why do ravens pull tails you ask? Generally it has to do with stealing food from other animals, particularly birds of prey, wolves, and by extension, dogs. Although you might think this would always be a team effort that’s not the case. In fact most instances of tail pulling I saw in Denali were solo missions attempting to annoy dogs into retreating from their food. With two of the dogs it was pretty effective tactic. This behavior helps illustrate a common misconception about wolves and ravens. Rather than being friends or hunting partners, the relationship is both one sided and unwelcome by wolves. Ravens harass, steal from, and are occasionally killed by wolves. Cache here poses little threat to this raven though and it seems he or she knows it. You can even see it watch for Cache’s reaction before fully committing to its escape, which is maybe my favorite thing ever and surely a good cure of a case of the Monday’s. #denalinationalpark #commonraven #raven #raventailpull #raventail #denali #alaskalife #alaska #birds #corvid #ilovecorvids #tailpulling #corvidmischief #denalik9rangers #k9rangers #doggo #funny

Mystclan:: Post 2
Two Nurses Shiningsoul couldn't be happier. Not only had she gotten a nurse who was due to kit the following moon, but as she'd walked the borders of the valley she'd found a raven pelted nurse who had just found herself pregnant, and ran from her twolegs in order to avoid losing her cubs. Their original names were Snowflake and Raven. Shiningsoul had, after giving them a sort of rundown on how things worked in Mystclan, renamed them to Snowtuft and Raventail. Since Snowtuft was a lot closer to her kitting than Raventail,Shiningsoul had given her the order to remain in the camp until the cubs were old enough to eat meat. Raventail she allowed out to patrol with her. The exercise, if done properly, would do the cubs good. Too much would harm both them and their mother though, so Shiningsoul limited her only to normal patrols, and then only one per half moon.
Snowtuft felt like a beached whale. Correction, the whales at her old sea-side home were skinnier than she was. She'd been pregnant for about a moon already, but she already knew that her stomach had to be bloated beyond repair. She'd never be skinny again, she was doomed to be a fat old elder for the rest of her days. Her mate, an absolute piece of trash whose name shall never again be spoken by decent cats had dumped her when she'd broken the absolutely amazing news, shortly after which she'd received a dream to come here, to Mystclan, where her kits would be appreciated. There was another queen too, Raventail. She was rather...distant, and seemed to be much calmer about her pregnant state than Snowtuft. Of course, Raventail had only recently gotten pregnant before she'd found her way to Mystclan territory. Snowtuft was quite convinced that Raventail would soon be sharing her grievances.
Snowtuft was a kittypet. There was no doubt about it. Every time Raventail got close enough to talk to her, Snowtuft was going on about how things had once been. Idiotic. Raventail was a loner by birth. She'd wandered more alleys and forests than she could count. She had heard stories about clans, albeit they were different from Mystclan where she now resided. She had even thought about joining more than one on multiple occasions. Of course, that had been before she'd gotten pregnant. It had been a one night thing, the tom was cute, she had no shame in admitting, and she hadn't been expecting to get pregnant. Then she's known she couldn't let her kits...her cubs make the same mistake. So she'd sought out the closest clan, and had ended up in this foggy valley. It was...different, but with the only cats thus far being female, Raventail knew her children could be born in safety. Unless of course males showed up, but even if they did, Ravenclaw would see too it that they knew she and her brood were off limits.
