This is Jan 3rd, my first day of FullyRaw Challenge~ I was beyond excited to start this challenge!! Be Honest, Dinner time was extremely hard to stuff down tons raw greens. I did my best to finish half of that giant bowl. But it's not a big deal if you feel this way in the beginning. That's the purpose of trying and learning. So If you are starting to do this challenge, please start easy. add more greens in your smoothie and juice, so it's easier to eat and digest. Hope this is helpful for your raw journey. If anyone has any suggestion for how i can do this challenge better, please leave the comments below! Lots of love!!
Yeah, I'm gonna miss next week guys. Hope you have lots of fun though! I'll be rolling round in the mud and jumping fire pits.
Stand by for challenge posts
Im starting a 21 day raw food challenge tomorrow. I'm so ready! But I will be crying in like 3 days... My tia and I do a hardcore fast or challenge twice or thrice a year so I know that my emotions and energy are going to be a roller coaster for the first week at least. But after my body gets in the swing of things I feel bright and highly energized. I love having my body at that high level of service. I try to stay true to the fast/challenge 100% and I just figured that Y'all would like to follow me along as I do this, given this is my personal blog. If anyone is serious and would be down to do the challenge, when im done, I would be totally down to email it to you.
The Twenties Project | Update
I am so very excited to be able to cross off the first item on my 20s list - participating in, and completing, the Raw Challenge.
Yesterday a group of friends and I threw ourselves with great enthusiasm at an 8km obstacle course, swimming across a half dozen dams, climbing vertical walls twice my height, shimmying up hanging ropes suspended from a frame, and crawling through pipes half submerged in murky water.
It was a great day, and I am so proud of myself for attempting and successfully navigating each of the 30 obstacles. I'll do a proper write up for my October post, but for now, have an (iPhone quality) photo of us after finishing.
